We have been producing landmark buildings for over a century. We got our start in 1912 when George Berlinghof and Ellery L. Davis formed a partnership that has changed this region’s architecture. We’ve had the good fortune to partner with many great clients and work on many great projects – large and small – near and far. Always, it’s a partnership with people – industry leaders, community advocates and individuals like us. It is our commitment to this partnership that has keeps our doors open. We value customer service, design integrity and quality workmanship, but, the greatest motivator for us are the many people with whom we have worked that we now count as friends. 🏗️ to the West Haymarket Parking Decks!

As Lincoln’s West Haymarket District was taking shape, Davis Design helped create the parking infrastructure that continues to support downtown events, businesses, residents, and visitors today.

Between the four parking decks, the development added more than 3,300 parking spaces across multiple six-level structures, providing critical support for the growth surrounding Pinnacle Bank Arena and the revitalized Haymarket district. Decks 1 and 2 were completed in 2013, Deck 3 followed in 2016, and Deck 4 was completed in 2022 as part of the Canopy Park development.

A unique feature of Deck 4 is its integration with the adjacent residential development, sharing stair and elevator towers that seamlessly connect the parking and living spaces. Together, these projects helped build the foundation for one of Lincoln’s most transformative downtown developments.

🏗️ Friday Fun Fact: The Salt Creek – Dial Senior Living community spans nearly 94,000 square feet, providing space for 62 assisted living units, 25 memory care units, and a variety of resident amenities all under one roof. That's roughly the equivalent of more than 1.5 football fields of indoor space designed for comfort, care, and community.

Several Davis Design team members traded their desks for running shoes and completed the Market to Market Relay this weekend. Whether conquering hills, cheering from the sidelines, or crossing the finish line, our team proved that collaboration doesn't stop at the office.

A facility built to keep Omaha moving. Davis Design provided architectural and structural design for Metropolitan Utilities District's new 135,000-square-foot operations center. The center features maintenance shops, fleet storage, warehousing, training areas, and employee support spaces all on one efficient campus.
