A whole new room. Without a renovation. 🤎

One of the biggest misconceptions about interior design is that transforming a space means tearing things apart.

Not always!

Sometimes it’s knowing when to work with what you have and when it’s time for something new.

For this client, the existing furniture had served its purpose, and it was time to completely rethink the space.

New furnishings, a fresh layout, beautiful textures, and a warmer, more inviting place to gather.

From choosing the furniture to sourcing all the finishing touches, THIS is the kind of transformation I absolutely love creating!

Because great design isn’t always about changing the house. Sometimes it’s about changing how you live in it.

Well, well, well… look who’s gotten BOLD! 🎨🩷😘

One of my former employees recently reached out to me for a little design help with her out-of-state home.

First, she absolutely made my day telling me how much she learned working with me and how she’s been using wallpaper in her own home ever since. 🥹

Then she started sending pictures of her home, and let me tell you… this girl has gotten BOLD! Even bolder than I ever knew her to be, and I am HERE FOR IT!

She has this fabulous piece of artwork and wants wallpaper that really makes it POP. And she’s not afraid to step outside the box.

So naturally, I started having a little fun!

These are just a few of the more unexpected possibilities I’ve been exploring. She has 17 additional wallpaper samples headed her way, so we’re nowhere near making a final decision.

But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it? Exploring possibilities, pushing boundaries and finding something that feels completely YOU.

And did I mention we’re doing all of this virtually? Distance doesn’t have to get in the way of great design.

Change the space. Change the mood. 💚

Sometimes it’s the little details that make the biggest difference. ✨

You’ve seen a peek at Joan’s kitchen, but I wanted to share some of the details that brought this space together!

New lighting, beautiful hardware, a gorgeous blue backsplash, a freshly painted island, new barstools, and of course, all the little finishing touches that I love hunting down.

One of my favorite things about what I do is finding the right combination of colors, textures, furniture, and accessories to make a space feel completely different without starting from scratch.

Not everything has to be replaced to create something beautiful. Sometimes it’s about seeing the potential in what’s already there.

And that’s the fun part for me. 🤍

A big, beautiful house… and where did the kids always want to hang out? MOM’S BEDROOM! 😂

Sound familiar?!

The mission? Create spaces these boys would actually WANT to spend time in!

One wanted a comfortable gaming retreat that reflected his personality, his favorite colors, and his love of gaming. He even had a hand in choosing how he wanted his room to look and feel!

The other needed a cool space to hang out with friends, plus a gaming room where everyone could gather and have fun.

And THIS is what I love about interior design! ❤️

It’s not just about choosing pretty furniture, wallpaper, or paint colors. It’s about understanding how people live, figuring out what’s not working, and creating spaces that make sense for THEM.

Three spaces. Different personalities. One goal. Give these boys rooms they could truly enjoy!

And did it work? Absolutely!

Although one of them STILL prefers watching TV in Mom’s bedroom sometimes. 😂 Hey, I can work magic with a room, but I can’t compete with Mom!

This is my kind of design. Creative, personal, functional, and anything but cookie-cutter!

Now tell me… what room in YOUR house could use a whole new MOOD?

✨ Your home doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. In fact, I think that’s the whole point! ✨

Two different homes. Two completely different personalities. And that’s what I love about design! 🧡💚

Give me bold wallpaper, unexpected colors, funky artwork, vintage treasures, and pieces that tell a story!

One home might call for playful patterns and rich green bookcases, while another leans into modern lines, statement artwork, and carefully curated accessories.

My job isn’t to give every client the same look. It’s to help create spaces that reflect THEIR personality, not mine.

And the best part? Some of these spaces are still works in progress! A few finishing touches are on their way, but I couldn’t resist sharing.

Because a beautifully designed home shouldn’t look like everyone else’s. It should look like YOU.

✨ Beautiful spaces don’t happen by accident. ✨

They begin with a vision, thoughtful design, and the right people to bring it all together.

A little coastal calm, with a whole lot of MOOD! 🌿🤍

We wrapped up Joan’s bedroom transformation this summer, and I finally have the professional photos to share!

The goal? Create a bedroom that feels peaceful, inviting, and effortlessly beautiful without falling into the typical coastal design.

And we didn’t just change a few pillows! 😉

✨ Beautiful new wood flooring

🌿 Soft, soothing green walls

🤍 A gorgeous shiplap ceiling

✨ A new sliding barn door

🤍 Floor-to-ceiling drapery

🛏️ New bedding, layered textures, and cozy accents

✨ New lighting, artwork, furniture, and thoughtful styling throughout

I especially love how the warm wood tones, creamy neutrals, and touches of caramel bring so much warmth to the green.

It’s relaxed. It’s sophisticated. It’s coastal without being predictable.

And most importantly, it’s a space that feels like an exhale at the end of a long day.

Change the space. Change the mood. 🤍

Remember this upstairs landing Owen and I wallpapered over the summer? Well, she’s finally ready for her close-up! 📸🧡

Who says an upstairs landing has to be just a place you pass through?!

What was once an overlooked, underused space is now a cozy little sitting area full of color, texture, and personality!

🌿 We started with this gorgeous botanical peel-and-stick wallpaper from Spoonflower, installed by yours truly and my favorite little helper, Owen! The beauty of removable wallpaper? If my client wants a different look five or six years from now, she has the flexibility to change things up!

🧡 Rich cognac swivel chairs, rust-colored throws, and touches of deep blue brought warmth, comfort, and a little unexpected contrast.

✨ Statement artwork, a beautiful wood cabinet, and thoughtfully layered accessories pulled the whole space together.

And can we talk about how beautifully all these colors play together?!

THIS is why I love what I do. Seeing possibilities in spaces that might otherwise be forgotten. Taking a chance on pattern, mixing colors and textures, and creating something that feels completely unique to the people who live there.

Because good design isn’t always about knocking down walls or spending a fortune. Sometimes it’s about looking at a space differently and having a little imagination!

Change the space. Change the MOOD. 🩷
