Thank you Lord for no wind tonight!! 🙌🏻 I get to sleep and the dahlias get to go camping!! ⛺️

I’m not ready for the season to be over and I have so many plants that haven’t bloomed yet! I need to make sure they are the variety I purchased!!!

I also made a bouquet for a friend of my mom’s! I love how purple can mesh so well with yellows and oranges for fall!! 🍁

I’ve only got a couple more weeks of flowers before we get a killer frost…let me know if you’d like to come pick flowers!!

It’s 3:30am and I still haven’t gone to bed. The frost tonight has had me SO nervous with the dahlias. Josh and I had a system to cover them but it was WAY TOO windy yesterday that we couldn’t get the frost cloth to stay secured…

…I never imagined I’d be saying this but I just turned the sprinkler on to “water” the dahlias with the hope that the warmer water will protect them during the coldest parts of the night.

…the things you do for flowers! 🥴

My SIL is getting married in a couple weeks and today was her Bachelorette/Shower! I brought a bunch of flowers for a flower bar and we had a bunch of fun!! What a great way to wrap up the end of the dahlia season!

The dahlia beds are getting colorful again!!! The season is coming to an end soon so I’m savoring the last few weeks of the beautiful color!!

It might be chilly and dreary but it’s a perfect day for some beautiful fall flowers and sourdough treats!!

The season is quickly coming to an end and I’ll only have flowers a few more weeks so make sure to stop by and pick up a bouquet!! The dahlias are popping so the bouquets are extra full!!

It’s been so crummy out the last few days that I hadn’t had a chance to get some decent pics!

However, I did get out there this morning, for a bit, to do some flower chores and see who new has bloomed since the weekend!!

And FINALLY, the Queen herself, Bloomquist Jean, opened up! She’s absolutely gorgeous!!

I’m also starting to take notes of the dahlias I don’t want to grow next year, which ones I’ll be keeping tubers of and which ones I’ll be propagating! Along with the new varieties I’ll be getting, I’m getting more and more excited for next growing season!!
