My name is April Miller, and I am a senior at Samford University studying Interior Design & Architecture with a Fine Arts minor. I enjoy pursing my passion for art and find such beauty and relief through painting. I’ve always dabbled in art, but it was not until taking a painting class in college that my interest for creating with a paint brush really took off. I am passionate about seeing God in everything and sometimes that happens in art and through the process of creating art. My faith, family, and friends are what I value the most and they have become the inspiration behind my art work.

Capturing this special project on camera was one for the books. When you think dream project- this was mine! Getting to design a new home for my parents, was an absolute honor and joy. I may or may not still be pinching myself over the whole thing. ☺️

P.S. Not caught on camera- veggie tales to occupy two of the three kids while my husband tried to take videos with our 14 month old in his arms. And neighbors who wander over when they see you with two very large paintings on your front porch. Never a dull moment!
