Our team recently traveled to Minster, Ohio, to join our Garmann Miller colleagues from across Ohio, Indiana, and the Mid-Atlantic for the annual corporate outing.

The day included company updates, strategy discussions, and team-building activities, helping strengthen the working relationships that support our projects across offices.

A strong roof helps protect everything beneath it—from classrooms and equipment to the students and staff who rely on the building every day.

At County Public Schools' North Harford High School, our team designed a roof replacement with the school calendar in mind.

Work began over the summer and continues during future breaks. This phased approach helps minimize disruption while keeping the project moving.

What does an architect do?

Three kindergarten classes recently got a closer look through “Knights Next – Meet the Pro,” a program that introduces students to careers and helps them explore their interests.

Our teammate shared what it takes to be an architect and how the places we design support everyday life.

It’s always fun to introduce young students to the possibilities of design and where their curiosity could take them!

School improvements reach beyond the classroom.

At Beaver Creek and West Bradford elementary schools, additions and renovations bring more learning space, updated building systems, and better traffic flow to Downingtown Area School District.

The work combines new construction with improvements to existing spaces, addressing how both schools function throughout the day.

Design skills, a little gaming nostalgia, and a lot of canned goods.

Teammates from our Lancaster office joined our parent company, Garmann Miller, in Pittsburgh for CANstruction Pittsburgh, helping create an oversized gaming console entirely out of cans!

The canned goods will be donated to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to support neighbors facing food insecurity.

Off-site construction can create more than temporary space.

At Cherokee Lane Elementary School, crews fabricated building modules in a controlled factory setting, delivered and connected them on-site, and completed a lasting, purpose-designed learning environment.

The project helped demonstrate how off-site construction can support permanent school facilities while providing a prototype for future needs.
