Going deep on the “behind the curtain” work, you know, the kind of foundational work that looks as though there’s no progress when it’s really setting you up for success.

We’ve encountered a couple of roadblocks, things that passed inspection when they were put in though no longer pass as it’s been a while between drinks. We’re about a month behind and pushing hard so that we can be open for you during the holiday season.

DYK that Contra Costa County Building Department does not approve plans, only reviews plans. That’s why there are surprises when an Inspector pays a visit to tell you you’ve done it wrong, even when it’s on the plan.

Greetings from the Little Kitchen that could!

A very brief update to let you know that we are expecting construction to wrap up around Labor Day.

We will update you closer to the time so that you can book your tour.

Local Vines, the Lamorinda Appellation w**e tasting room, is open next door and is available to rent as an event space with kitchen members given catering priority. Go check it out.
