In the Pages of Portrait Seattle!

What a joy to see two of our award-winning projects, Plum Reverie Kitchen and Sky and Clay Laundry Room, featured in Portrait of Seattle magazine!

Rich colors, expressive materials, and unexpected details come together to create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal. Every design decision is rooted in the stories, personalities, and everyday rituals of the people who inhabit these spaces.

We’re honored to have received three awards at the 2026 NKBA Puget Sound Design Awards:

🏆 Plum Reverie Kitchen | First Place, Open Plan Kitchen & People’s Choice Kitchen

🏆 Sky and Clay Laundry Room | First Place, Other Room

A heartfelt thank you to Portrait of Seattle for the beautiful feature, to NKBA Puget Sound for the recognition, and to our wonderful clients for trusting us with their home.

We believe every room deserves to be designed; including the ones nobody talks about.

A laundry room is used more often than most. Quietly, daily, without ceremony. Which is exactly why it shouldn’t feel like an afterthought.

This one began with sea-glass blue cabinetry - calm and airy, the kind of color that makes even a mundane task feel a little less like one. Black-and-white microcement walls bring depth and a certain moodiness that grounds the whole room without heavying it. San Juan cement tile underfoot carries the rhythm of something graphic and considered. And then the terracotta - in the pulls, the lighting, the sliding door frame - that warm counterpoint that stops the palette from feeling too composed.

Every cabinet was planned around how the room is actually used. Baskets that need to be lifted. A vacuum that needs to disappear. Corners that would otherwise be wasted.

The result is a room that is entirely practical and entirely worth walking into. ✦

“So… you just pick out paint colours?” 😭

If only it were that simple.

Every space you see has dozens of decisions behind it - the layout, proportions, materials, lighting, colours, furniture, functionality, details, and how everything comes together as one cohesive space.

A good interior isn’t just about making a space look beautiful.
It’s about thinking through the details long before you see the final picture.

Because the best-designed spaces don’t happen by accident. They’re thought through.

Saw our last reel on this project? Now, take a closer look.

A home comes together in the layers.

A quiet landscape wallcovering wraps the dining room, creating a soft backdrop for sculptural pendants, warm wood, tactile textiles, and a custom console designed to bring both function and rhythm to the space. Throughout, organic forms and small moments of greenery keep the composition connected to nature.

A home doesn’t need to be filled with things to feel layered.

In this newly completed project, we worked with warmth, texture, and sculptural form to give the spaces a sense of depth while allowing each element room to breathe.

In the dining room, a panoramic landscape wallcovering unfolds quietly across the walls, its finely drawn trees and distant scenery bringing the feeling of the outdoors into the room without overwhelming it. Its soft, tonal palette creates an atmospheric backdrop for warm wood, olive upholstery, and sculptural pendants that cast a gentle glow.

An organic mirror plays against the geometry of the staircase, while a sculptural lamp turns the credenza into a moment of its own. Upstairs, textile art, handcrafted objects, and trailing greenery bring softness and soul to spaces that might otherwise have been overlooked.

The details are distinct, but they speak the same language: natural materials, fluid forms, tactile texture, and a palette that feels grounded and warm.

Collected. Soulful. Timeless.

Some homes have already done the work.

This one in Sequim just needed us to show up, notice it, and get out of the way. ✦
