✨ Enhancing space, playing with proportion, and introducing the unexpected.⠀
⠀
For our latest Shelfie, we spent the day with designer Julia Swenson of as she styled a bookshelf in our showroom. Bookshelves can easily feel either cluttered or overly designed, but Julia showed us how to strike that perfect balance of a space that feels collected over time.⠀
⠀
Her secret? Mixing materials, playing with scale, and incorporating warm lighting and organic greenery. She paired layered artwork and varied frame sizes with a mix of Design Phase finds, even suggesting fun touches like mounting art right to the front of a shelf or using smaller family photos for a subtle, personal feel.⠀
⠀
Thank you, Julia, for bringing your vision to our showroom and reminding us that updating your shelves with pieces you love—whether from your travels or a day of shopping with us—is such a simple way to elevate your home. ✨⠀

From refined and traditional to relaxed, modern, organic, or bohemian, the variety of styles, textures, and finishes means there’s something for every aesthetic.
