Unpopular opinion among designers and interior design magazines- TV above a fireplace…..I am sure you have seen the the great debate about whether or not there should be a TV above a fireplace. I actually have two above fireplaces in my own home. In our addition I went with the Canvas TV from Hisense USA so that I could have the best of both worlds. I am very happy with my Canvas TV and the pre-loaded artwork is just beautiful and I can always find the perfect art to display when my TV isn’t being used to watch movies or shows. I finished it off with a custom wood frame and I am very happy with both the function and aesthetics. Sometimes above the fireplace is the most functional location for the TV. What do you think?

Making Magic 🪄 tada!!

An easy way to add whimsy and magic to your front porch.
🪄 battery operated floating candles
🪄 tie fishing line around the top of the faux candle flame
🪄 use hooks with a flat backing to apply a command strip, tie the other end of the fishing line to the hook
🪄 hang with the command strips and use the remote to turn on and off

Super easy!!!

Sometimes marble isn’t the answer. It isn’t for everyone and it may not be the right product for your circumstances. Don’t get me wrong….I love marble just as much as the next designer, but it isn’t one size fits all.
