A little behind-the-scenes with the Pates crew! 💪💙

Not every part of the job makes it into a before-and-after photo.

There’s plenty of teamwork, problem-solving, and hard work happening behind the scenes to keep things moving.

Just a little appreciation for the guys who put in the work day in and day out! 👏

Pool season may be wrapping up, but hot tub season is just getting started! ♨🍂

Micah gave this spa a fresh start with a full drain and clean. 💦✨

A little TLC goes a long way toward keeping your spa clean, inviting, and ready for those chilly Indiana evenings.

Because let's be real....hot tub weather is the one good thing about temperatures dropping. 😂

When your pool pump starts giving you the silent treatment… 👀🔒

Before you assume something’s broken, your MOOV pump might just have its control panel locked!

The panel automatically locks after a period of inactivity to help prevent accidental changes. And thankfully, unlocking it is pretty simple.

This week’s Pool School shows you what to look for, how to unlock it, and when it might be time to call in the professionals.

Swipe through before you start pushing every button in sight. 😂👉

Apparently nobody told the leaves that pool season is over. 🍂😂

Your pool might be closed for the season, but Mother Nature isn't taking a break!

Keep an eye on leaves, branches, and debris collecting on your winter cover. Removing buildup safely and using the proper care methods for your cover can help prevent problems down the road.

And if Mother Nature gets a little carried away? We also offer cover cleaning as an add-on to our spring pool openings. 😉

Your MOOV pump has a mind of its own… or does it? 👀💦

If you’ve noticed your pump running differently when it first starts up, there’s actually a reason for that!

MOOV pumps have a self-priming feature that helps establish water flow before transitioning into normal operation.

This week’s Pool School breaks down what self-priming means, what’s normal, and when something might need a closer look.

Swipe through for the normal-person explanation. 😂👉

Okayyyy, this one cleaned up NICE. 👀💦

That old liner was ready for retirement - and the new one completely changed the look of this pool.

Swipe for the before + a closer look at what Steven & Jordan were working with. 😅

Safe to say this one got quite the upgrade. 👏

Pool School is officially in session. 💦📚

First lesson: your MOOV pump has a lot of settings… so let’s make them make sense.

Swipe for the normal-person version of Manual, Auto & Timer Mode. 👉

And when in doubt, ask before you start pushing buttons. 👀

Another one buttoned up for winter! ❄️💦

Our crews have been making their way around Indy getting pools tucked in for the off-season — and this one is officially ready for its winter nap. 😴

See you next pool season!

We’ve seen some things. We’ve heard some things. And yes, we’ve gotten those phone calls. 😂🚩

From mysterious pump settings to the classic “it was working fine until I touched it,” we’re sharing a few things we’d recommend leaving off your pool maintenance checklist.

All jokes aside, your pool equipment is an investment, and we’re here to help you keep it running properly!

Have a question about your equipment? Give us a call before you start pushing buttons. 😉
