Going custom means you don’t have to use the same window treatment in every room.

Different spaces have different needs, so the right treatment can change depending on how the room is used.

🛋️ Living Room: Light-filtering shades or drapery for softness and flexibility
🛏️ Bedroom: Room-darkening shades for better privacy and light control
🍽️ Dining Room: Tailored shades that keep the space bright but finished
🛁 Bathroom: Top-down/bottom-up shades for privacy without losing natural light
👶 Nursery: Cordless or motorized options with room-darkening capabilities
🏡 Kitchen: Easy-to-operate shades that keep the look clean and practical

When a client already has a strong point of view, our job isn’t to overwrite it.

For this bedroom, that meant working with pieces they already loved, building out the color palette, and choosing window treatments and hardware that felt intentional with the rest of the room.

One of our favorite solutions for bathrooms: top-down/bottom-up shades.

They give you privacy on the lower half of the window while keeping the upper portion open for natural light. Simple, functional, and especially useful in spaces like this.
