Are you ready for a kitchen that’s designed for you, not just something you can deal with? We’re here to help create a kitchen planned for exactly how you function - whether that’s entertaining friends and family, finally finding the right place for your KitchenAid, or opening the layout, we’re here to make a home you’re excited to be in!

Pull!

Some of the Nelson Builders crew traded tape measures for sh****ns at the Lakeshore HBA clay shoot recently. A big thank you to the Lakeshore Home Builders Association for a great day - and for everything they do for our local building community. Shout out to Isaac, Trent, Mark, Evan, and Josh for representing us!

Some projects come together because the right people are at the table. Thank you, Amanda Christine Design, for being a fantastic partner on our commercial space and for highlighting our project. After being here for awhile, it’s still exactly what we wanted!

A lot of our best projects start with a referral! If you know a friend or family member who is thinking about remodeling, we’d love to give them a remarkable remodeling experience.

10/23/2026

Our goal on every project? Clients who can't wait to leave us a 5-star review and tell their friends about it!

And we know that at the end of a remodeling project, clients who are as happy with the experience as the finished product don't happen by accident.
We’ve built a process that covers everything from that first phone call to the final walkthrough to minimize stress and increase your satisfaction in the entire remodeling experience. If that’s what you’re looking for, reach out today!

You’ll walk through this space every single day for years, not just the day it's finished.

That's why we pride ourselves on quality materials and excellent craftsmanship.
If quality matters to you as much as it does to us, give us a call and let's talk about your project!

Ever wonder what goes into the remodeling process before a single tile is laid?
We finalize the design and choose all of your materials and finishes first. Then we map out your full timeline before work ever begins.

Good planning up front keeps things moving on time and on budget once demo day actually arrives!

When you call our office to discuss a remodeling project, you can expect us to:

1. Ask about what’s not working in your current space and your goals for the remodel
2. Share with you an overview of our process
3. Discuss your desired investment range
4. Review the next steps

We've found that the more you understand about the process upfront, the smoother and less stressful everything feels!

Today we're celebrating Mark Wolfe, our Production Manager, as he heads into a well-earned retirement.

For over 7 years, Mark has been a true blessing to Nelson Builders. Our clients knew they could count on him to keep their projects on track and treat their homes with care. Our crew knew him as a steady hand and a great teammate. And our West Michigan community has been better for having him in it.

Mark, we'll miss you around the office and on the job site. Thank you for everything you've given us. We wish you & Janet all the best in this next chapter. Enjoy every minute of it!
