From the drawing board to where the magic happens!

It’s been an incredible year as part of the Kohler Designer Collective, beginning with the opportunity to design the bar for Kohler’s House Party at KBIS this past February and, most recently, a trip to Kohler, Wisconsin, to experience the brand in an entirely new way.

From staying at the Carriage House and enjoying the Kohler Food & W**e Festival to exploring the village, watching artisans at work, and getting a firsthand look at the innovations shaping the future of design, the weekend was a wonderful reminder of what makes this brand so special.

More than 150 years of history, craftsmanship, and innovation, with no signs of slowing down. What a privilege to see the people and processes behind it all and to play even a small part in the next chapter of the Kohler story.

Thank you, Kohler for an unforgettable experience and for welcoming us into your world!

Dallas, our doors are open!

A first look inside the new Weston Table flagship, brought to life in collaboration with Burkle Creative.

A partnership that felt like a natural fit from the beginning, born from a shared appreciation for beautiful objects with stories to tell and the belief that the most interesting spaces are collected over time.

Together, we set out to create something beyond a traditional retail experience, translating the world of Weston Table into a home that invites you to explore and stay awhile. Rich color, layered antiques, unexpected details, and a little Texas personality come together to celebrate the art of living beautifully.

An unexpected match. 🫧

Who says your favorite entertaining pieces have to stay at the table? Javier takes the MATCH Pewter Roman Centerpiece from Weston Table somewhere a little less expected, giving it a new purpose in his own wet room.

A few beautiful soaps, a little creative thinking, and suddenly a centerpiece feels right at home beside the bathtub. Proof that sometimes the best design decisions come from poping a few bubbles.

I was recently asked what I consider my greatest achievement in owning Burkle Creative. My answer was easy: when a client comes back and hires us again.

But being recognized by my peers might be right up there with it.

We’re honored to be named a finalist for the 37th Annual ARTS Awards. To be recognized by industry peers we respect, alongside colleagues whose work we admire, is something we don’t take lightly.

A big thank you to our team, our clients who trust us with their homes, and our collaborators who continuously help us bring the work to life.

With the 2026 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas designers officially announced, we’re reminiscing about our 2024 Sobremesa Lounge.

In Spanish culture, sobremesa is the time spent lingering at the table after a meal. Talking, sipping, and staying a little longer than planned.

That feeling became the starting point for our room, a reminder that the best spaces don’t just look beautiful. They make you feel something.

Javier is honored to serve on the Kips Bay Dallas Alumni Committee and can’t wait to see what this talented new class dreams up. 💭
