Think back for a moment...

Racing home with a pillowcase full of candy. 🍭

Dumping it all on the floor and trading with your siblings or hiding it from your parents 😉.

The smell of something warm in the oven while the grown ups laughed in the next room. 🥧

You didn't know it then, but those were some of the best nights of your life. 🥰

Now it's your turn. What memories do you want to create for your kids or grandkids? 📽️

This family knew exactly what they wanted to feel. We took it from there. We designed every room around how they live, built it with care, and managed every trade, schedule, and decision along the way, so they never had to juggle a thing.

Now Mom bakes holiday treats without missing a moment, because the fun is right there.

The kids watch movies and stay up late at sleepovers, laughing as loud as they want, while the adults watch the game, or play board games in the next room, knowing exactly where everyone is.

Family from far away has their own space to rest, then joins in when they're ready.

And on quiet mornings, there's a warm cup, a good book, and leaves drifting past the window. 🍂

🏠We're your local neighbors, and we love creating the spaces you've been dreaming of in a way that lets you relax, knowing you're in good hands. We have a family too. Just like we want the best for ours, we want the best for yours. That's why we do what we do.

You don't have to keep searching. Send us a message today and let's start making those memories real. 🧡

Thinking about a kitchen remodel next year? Our partners at Hardware Resources just shared their top five kitchen design trends for 2027, and a few of them are already showing up in the conversations we're having with homeowners.

Here's what's catching our eye:

🔹 Kitchen zones over the classic work triangle, with dedicated spots for prep, cleanup, and even a beverage station
🔹 Back kitchens and butler's pantries that keep the mess out of sight
🔹 Bigger, harder working islands with built-in charging and deep storage
🔹 Paneled appliances and closed or fluted glass cabinetry
🔹 Warm wood cabinetry, natural quartzite, and brass or bronze hardware

People are staying in their homes longer than ever. That means designing a kitchen around how you actually live, not around resale.

Over the past two decades, the median length of time a homeowner held on to their home went from approximately six years in 2005 to closer to 12 years today. There are several reasons for that chan…

Cabinetry is the part of a kitchen you see and use every single day.

This finished kitchen pairs soft greige shaker cabinets with reeded-glass uppers lit from inside and underneath, a paneled island in a light wood finish, and clean off white quartz tops that tie the whole room together. It's cabinetry we designed, laid out around how the homeowners actually cook, store, and gather.

Flooring Face-Off 🏠

Floors quietly shape how a whole room looks and lives. Swipe through and tell us which one you’d pick.

🎨 Tile: Tough and endlessly customizable. A favorite for bathrooms and entryways.

🌳 Hardwood: Warm and timeless, and it can be refinished down the road. Best in drier, main-level spaces.

🧶 Carpet: Soft, cozy, and a good choice for bedrooms and basement living areas.

We're excited to now offer Fabuwood's new Designer Stain Collection. ✨

Five new stains on birch for the Allure Galaxy line, each one with real depth and the wood grain still showing through:

🍇 Elderberry: a moody plum brown for the homeowner who wants something unexpected but still timeless
🌲 Seaside Pine: soft, calming green that pairs beautifully with warm brass and creamy stone
🌊 Dark Aqua: deep blue green with a bold, tailored feel
🪨 Claystone: earthy taupe for anyone who loves neutrals but is tired of gray
🍪 Biscuit: light and creamy, perfect for bright kitchens and Scandinavian style spaces

Painted cabinets are beautiful, but stain lets the character of the wood come through. These colors bring warmth to a kitchen without going dark or dated, and they work just as well in a bathroom vanity or a basement wet bar.

As your local Fabuwood dealer, we make it easy to bring these finishes home. Want the full remodel? Our team designs and builds kitchens, bathrooms, and basement finishes under one roof, from the first sketch to the final walkthrough. Tackling your own project? We'll get you the cabinets directly.

One rainy morning, our crew showed up to find water in a basement we had just started finishing. The home's original sump pump had failed during the storm.

Our clients were already at work, so we called to let them know what we found. From there, we took care of everything. They didn't have to rush home to move furniture, track down someone they could trust, or wait on appointments to get the basement assessed and the work scheduled. Our crew protected what could be saved, cleaned and dried the space, and with their approval, replaced the pump that same day so the project could keep moving.

That evening they came home to progress, not problems.

That was about two years ago. With all the heavy rain this past weekend, we reached out to check on them. Their answer: "Our basement is good!" 💙

We're glad we could help and give them one less thing to worry about. They can keep enjoying their basement without worrying when the next storm rolls in.

Planning a project? We'd love to hear about it. 402‑807‑7001 | bennettdb.com
