🎃 OCTOBER POOL THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT THINK ABOUT… 🍂
Your pool doesn’t know it’s pumpkin spice season. It still expects a little love!
Swimming season may be slowing down, but your pool hasn’t clocked out yet! Here are a few things that are easy to overlook:
🍁 Leaves can leave more than a mess. Letting them sit on the bottom can lead to stains. Scoop them out before they settle in!
💧 Cool nights can mean noticeable evaporation. Cool, dry air over warmer water can lower your water level. Keep an eye on it, and don’t automatically assume every drop is a leak.
🧪 Clear water doesn’t always mean balanced water. Your pool can look beautiful while its chemistry needs attention. Keep testing!
🧂 Salt systems can slow down as water cools. Some reduce or stop chlorine production below certain temperatures. Check your system instead of assuming it’s still keeping up.
🌧️ Rain doesn’t replace pool maintenance. Storms bring debris and can change your water balance. Give your pool a check afterward.
🛡️ Pool covers need attention, too. Check for damage, loose anchors, and collected debris before relying on yours for the season.
🔧 Small problems are easy to forget when you’re swimming less. That drip, unusual noise, or loose handrail still deserves attention.
👧 Pool safety is year-round. Keep gates latched and barriers secure—even when the floats are put away.😂
