There’s a science behind the creative process — here’s a look inside what’s it’s like to work with us.

You can't tell on this picture but just to the right was this incredible fountain wall and to the left was a huge view of a pool. The kitchen is gorgeous white oak cabinets so we needed a "fire" element badly. Plus, this home had the coolest scale so I wanted to play around with unexpected proportions -- we did a graphic look up the wall paired with a "media height" console to make the art feel a bit lower and more immersive.

My favorite storage pieces are the ones that have room for a "vignette" styling moment.

Yes it's true -- we have lots of "bird" art. From hawks to swans...you can find modern natural art across the Amethyst Art Collection.

One of our most loved design services is our surprise design. This is perfect for families who needed their homes furnished yesterday and don't want to make hundreds of decisions, love our aesthetic, and want a fully styled home in less than 8 weeks. Rooms are priced a la carte and we even hang the art!

The idea started with our best-selling bed and evolved to a one of a kind funkalicious rug, moody florals, squatty glossy lamps...and a vibe was born.

Cute coffee shop moment. Sometimes my clients ask me to design their home, then rental properties, then their coffee shop...love this family and so grateful for all the ways they've worked me into their latest projects.

I have to laugh about this. A few years ago, one of my most brilliant and also not fully formed ideas was to have my photographer take actual "action shots" of an install....let me just say -- it wasn't as "aesthetic" as I hoped when I'm actually trying to assemble furniture with my husband, manage piles of accessories, someone started bleeding...oh my gosh photoshoot fail...or photoshoot win? actually got some great shots...somehow!!!
