Want to scare a heavy civil contractor? 👻🎃

Tell them the quantities are wrong, the grade is off, the utilities aren't where they should be… and the paving crew is already on the way. 💀

Forget ghosts and goblins. THAT'S a real nightmare! 👀

Good thing our crews know how to handle a few tricks on the job.

We'll leave the scares to Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Alpine Civil! 🎃👻

Culture isn't what you say.
It's how you treat people.

That belief shapes how we work, how we lead, and how we show up for one another.

It's about trusting experienced people to make decisions, giving crews ownership of their work, and creating an environment where everyone has a voice.

It's knowing that when challenges come up, the focus isn't on pointing fingers. It's on finding solutions, working together, and moving forward.

From the office to the field, every person plays a part. Different roles. Different responsibilities. One team that stands behind the work and each other.

Because the way we treat people matters just as much as the work we leave behind.

BUILT FOR THE PROJECTS THAT GET COMPLICATED. POWERED BY THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Big projects come with big challenges. Plans change, unexpected obstacles come up, and every moving piece has to work together.

But that's where our people shine.

We're so fortunate to have some incredibly talented, hardworking people who know their craft, take pride in what they do, and understand that a successful project takes more than just getting their own job done.

Our earthwork, utilities, concrete, asphalt, trucking, survey, and landscaping teams don't just work alongside each other. They work together.

They communicate, think ahead, anticipate challenges, and step up when plans change. They understand how their work impacts the next crew and why looking out for one another matters.

That kind of teamwork doesn't happen by accident. It's built through experience, trust, mutual respect, and people who genuinely care about doing a good job.

We're proud of the projects we build, but we're even prouder of the people who make them possible.

Great projects take great people. And at Alpine, our people make the difference.

TECHNOLOGY IS ONLY AN ADVANTAGE IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT

You can buy technology.

You can’t buy the experience required to use it well.

Alpine has continued to push machine control, GPS, surveying and field technology further into our operations because precision matters when you're moving massive quantities of material and building at this scale.

Our recognition as Topcon’s #1 globally is something we’re extremely proud of.

But what matters more is what our crews do with that technology every day.

Our surveyors build the information.

Our field teams use it.

Our equipment responds to it.

And decisions that once required multiple steps can now happen faster and with greater accuracy in the field.

We aren't interested in technology because it looks impressive.

We invest in it because it changes what we're capable of building.

🏗️ MILLIONS OF YARDS OF DIRT. MILES OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. AND THAT'S JUST THE BEGINNING.

Ever drive past a massive construction site and wonder what the heck is actually happening out there?

It's a lot more than bulldozers pushing dirt around.

There's an entire operation happening beneath your feet, combining serious horsepower, cutting-edge technology, precision engineering, and crews who know how to get the job done.

And here's the kicker: Most of the work we do will never be seen once the project is finished.

But every road, development, and piece of infrastructure depends on it.

Our newest blog breaks down what heavy civil construction REALLY does and why it's one of the most important parts of building anything.

A little look at what’s been happening across some of our Alpine jobsites throughout Colorado.

From Parker to Aurora, Brighton, Golden, Erie and Commerce City, our crews have been BUSY putting in the work on everything from storm structures and concrete inlets to forebays, headwalls, wingwalls, suspended decks, riprap and more.

Some of it is finished and easy to see. Some of it will eventually be backfilled, covered up or become part of the infrastructure most people never think twice about. Either way, every piece takes planning, precision and a crew that knows how to get it done right.

These photos highlight work from Newlin Crossing, Arcadia, Telluride, Bonvue, Erie Junction and Third Creek — plus a crew shot from Harvest Crossing F2 because we can't show off the work without showing some appreciation for the people behind it.

Different projects. Different scopes. One Alpine team.

Proud of the work happening across Colorado and even more proud of the people making it happen.

We have a theory.

Your favorite piece of equipment says something about the kind of person you are on the jobsite. 😂

🚜 DOZER: Going around the problem was never an option.
🦾 EXCAVATOR: Precision matters. And yes, you probably think you're the most talented person on the site.
🛞 SCRAPER: Go big or go home.
🚧 LOADER: Give me the pile. I'll handle it.

At Alpine, the equipment may get a lot of attention—but it's the personalities, experience, skill and pride of the people running it that make the difference.

Different machines.
Different personalities.
One team.

That's part of what makes our culture Built Different.

Operators—we know you're going to have opinions on this one. 😂

Just a little appreciation for the people who make it all happen.

Every project starts with a plan, but it’s the men and women in the field who bring those plans to life. They’re out there every day putting in the hours, solving problems, working together, and getting the job done.

A lot goes into the work we do at Alpine, and none of it happens without the people behind it.

So today, we’re giving some recognition to the hardworking faces of Alpine. We appreciate everything you do and the pride you bring to the job every day.

At Alpine, trust isn't something we put on a poster. It's built in the field every day.

Trust the survey team to get it right.
Trust the operator to know the machine.
Trust the superintendent to see the bigger picture.
Trust the crew beside you to do their part.

Our self-perform model brings more scopes under one team—but what really makes it work is the culture behind it.

People who communicate.
People who take ownership.
People who know their work affects the person standing next to them.

That's what One Team means at Alpine.

More control. Better communication. Shared accountability.

Built Different isn't just how we're structured. It's how we show up for each other.

Another one in the books — and this one is worth showing off a little.

Alpine recently wrapped up a massive project at Overland Ranch in Aurora, Colorado, completing the grading, concrete, and asphalt work from the ground up.

This project is a great example of what Alpine does best: combining an experienced crew with the technology, equipment, and precision to take on large, complex projects and get them across the finish line.

From the early grading and survey work to the final concrete and asphalt, there were a lot of moving pieces on this one — and the finished product speaks for itself.

A huge shoutout to Project Manager Kendall Albert, Surveyor Alex Walters and the entire Alpine crew who had a hand in making Overland Ranch happen. It takes a hell of a team to pull off work at this scale, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result.

Big project. Impressive finish. Another job we’re proud to put the Alpine name on.
Built Different. Built Alpine.
