Landscape Architecture, Site Design, Land Planning & Urban Design Firm

Kiser + Vogrin Design is a design and landscape architecture firm
located just a mile down the street from the Ovation site in the Cool Springs area of
Franklin, TN. The firm, founded in 2010, is relatively young, but represents the continuation
of the friendship, and collaborative professional partnership, of founders Dwight Kiser
and Gary Vogrin who have been successfully designing, entitling, and building projects in
Middle Tennessee since 1996. Since its inception, Kiser + Vogrin Design has strived to consistently provide innovative
and sustainable project solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client and each
site. Our talented and dedicated team has proven that it has the creativity, technical
skill, and business acumen required to meet the ever-increasing demands and challenges
inherent in the top caliber land development that is the new standard in the Middle
Tennessee Region. Every team member contributes their unique and creative skill set to
deliver the landscape architecture, planning, and urban design services for which Kiser +
Vogrin Design is celebrated. We have worked hard to assemble a highly effective team
of Landscape Architects and Designers that share the principles and culture necessary
for the continued success of our firm.

We had some fun last week carving ourselves new front porch decorations! It's too hard for us to pick a favorite, but which one's yours?

A look at the landscape KVD designed around Southpointe Community Church’s new building in Nolensville, TN!

Inspired by the natural beauty of our National Parks, the landscape creates a welcoming setting that connects the new building to the surrounding site. This project is the first piece of a larger master plan for the church’s future campus, designed to support a growing congregation and community.

Today we’re throwing it back to some master plans drawn up by KVD founders Dwight Kiser and Gary Vogrin starting back in 2005 - that's over 20 years of designing and master planning here in Franklin!!

Scroll through to see a peek of the extensive history of land planning at KVD.

KVD has been involved with Columbia State Community College’s Williamson County Campus from the very beginning, including early site planning and campus master planning through landscape design and construction.

Years later, it’s rewarding to see the campus grown in and serving the Franklin community!

Delux WeHo is now open in West Nashville, and we're excited to share a few of our favorite views from around the site!

We're grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to a project that adds another unique residential community to the neighborhood.

A first look at what’s to come…
Canteen on Carothers is starting to take shape, and the excitement is building as local shops and restaurants begin to move in and make the space their own. Even in these early moments, you can start to see the vision of an active hub designed for community, connection, and everyday experience.
We can already picture evenings on the lawn gathered with friends and neighbors! Stay tuned as it all comes together in Franklin.

Our 2026 KVD Annual Crawfish Boil was everything we hoped for and more! To longtime partners, clients, friends, family, and the entire KVD team, we’re grateful for everyone who came out and made this event so special.

There’s always something meaningful about taking a step away from the day-to-day to connect, laugh, catch up, and celebrate the people who make KVD what it is. Events like this remind us that the relationships we build matter just as much as the work we do.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day happen, and to everyone who showed up ready to eat some crawfish and make memories with us. Hats off to another unforgettable year… yee-claw!

And special thanks to all of this year’s incredible sponsors!
