Always an honor to be invited back to a client's home to transform another space. The first bathroom we remodeled for this family was in 2023.

Fast forward three years later...and we are now transforming their primary en-suite. Same footprint, but when we are done, the homeowner will gain separate his and her vanities, an upgraded shower, more practical storage and BONUS - a freestanding tub! 🙌🛁

Still riding high from yesterday's NE’s Professional Remodeling Organization 2026 Youth Remodeling Career Day, which drew in record numbers - the most volunteers, most activities, AND most students ever. 🙌

More than 600 talented students pursuing an education and profession in the trades showed up, ready to engage, learn, and pick up a new skill or two and make new connections. One thing is clear - the future is bright! (A win for us all!)

We had an awesome time meeting the next generation of PROs, and catching up with the incredible PRO-NE community we are grateful to be part of.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to build a birdhouse with JM. 🐤🏠🔨👷👷‍♀️We already did the dropoff, and Pond Home residents are looking forward to painting them.

PRO New England - well done, as always! It's an honor to participate in this special day and be part of such a talented group of professionals. Thank you. 🤩✨🙏

One of the greatest compliments a homeowner can give is calling us back for another project.

We're currently back in Sherborn, MA, remodeling this family's kitchen, dining, living, laundry, and mudroom spaces. A couple summers ago, we renovated three bathrooms for them, including this primary ensuite.

Many JM clients improve their homes in phases, and we're honored to help bring each chapter to life.

Stay tuned for what's next. ✨

Did you know a carpenter helped champion Labor Day? 💙

I certainly didn't. While doing a little reading this weekend, I learned that back in 1882, Peter J. McGuire, a carpenter and labor leader, helped advocate for a day of rest for those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."

As someone who gets to work alongside talented craftspeople every day, that quote gave me goosebumps. More than 140 years later, it's still a beautiful reminder that behind every finished project are people who solve problems, sweat the details, and care deeply about their craft. ✨

Today, we're grateful for our employees, our trade partners, and everyone whose work often happens behind the scenes but leaves a lasting impact on the homes and lives of others. It's pretty special, and something all of us at JM are proud of.

Hope you're having a wonderful Labor Day weekend.

Now, now... we didn't forget National Dog Day. 🐾

One of our favorite parts of the design process is learning how each family lives and creating solutions around their everyday routines.

For this Sherborn family, that meant incorporating dedicated dog food storage right into the kitchen island for a whole crew of very pampered four-legged family members. Alongside a beverage fridge and plenty of additional storage, this thoughtful detail makes feeding time easier while keeping everything neatly tucked away.

We believe the best homes are designed around the people (and pets) who live in them. 🐶

The real project managers. Every decision had to pass their inspection.

Dedicated dog food storage built right into the island.

Convenient for the humans. Exciting for the dogs.

Thoughtful details, smartly integrated. Wait - where's the dog food? Oh...hidden! Brilliant.

Ending the week with gratitude for a client roster full of the most incredible homeowners ever.

That's it. That's the caption. 🙏

Drawing your eye upward and creating a strong focal point for any space, a coffered ceiling is a timeless architectural feature that adds depth, dimension, and elegance to kitchens, living rooms, or home offices.

From a practical standpoint, a coffered ceiling helps reduce noise and mask structural elements that can't be moved.

When you’re ready to remodel your kitchen, dream big! Our in-house design team can collaborate with you to factor your fifth wall into your vision.
