🚨IF AN EMERGENCY HAPPENED TODAY, WOULD YOUR FAMILY HAVE A SAFE WAY OUT?🚨

And just as importantly, would firefighters and emergency responders have a way IN to reach your loved ones if they needed to perform a rescue?🧑‍🚒

We recently completed an egress window installation for a home in Fort Collins, adding an important layer of safety and peace of mind for this homeowner and their family.🏡

Basements can become comfortable living spaces, bedrooms, and places where families spend quality time together. But if your basement has bedrooms or living areas, having a safe, accessible emergency exit can make a critical difference when every second counts.

One of the best mottos to live by is:

💬 “It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.”

An egress window isn't just another home improvement project. It's an investment in the safety of the people who matter most. ❤️

✅A safe way out
🚒A way in for first responders
☀️More natural light
🌬️Fresh air and ventilation
🏡 Greater functionality
📈 Added home appeal

Don't wait for an emergency to discover your basement doesn't have a safe way out. Take a look at your basement windows and ask yourself: Would my family be able to escape if our usual exit were blocked?

At Basement Escape, we take safety seriously. We're proud to help Northern Colorado homeowners create safer, brighter, and more functional homes, one egress window at a time. 💪

One Window. A World of Difference.

Another Fort Collins home is one step closer to a beautiful, functional, and safer finished basement! 🙌

We recently completed an egress window installation for a homeowner undergoing a basement finish, and this is one of the most important steps in transforming a basement into a comfortable, usable living space.

An egress window is about so much more than adding a window!

Here's what this home gains with this one installation:

🛡️ Enhanced safety - Provides an emergency escape route and potential access point for first responders in an emergency.
☀️Natural light - Brings sunshine into the basement, making the space feel brighter and more inviting.
🌬️Fresh air & ventilation - Allows fresh air to circulate and makes the basement feel less enclosed.
🏡More functional living space - Helps make the basement better suited for bedrooms, family rooms, guest spaces, and more.
📋Building code compliance - Properly sized and installed egress windows are essential when creating basement sleeping rooms.

And that's just the beginning! A properly planned egress window can completely change how a basement looks, feels, and functions. 💙

👏 Major kudos to our crew for another job well done! Every installation is an opportunity to help homeowners make the most of their space while prioritizing safety.

Our latest installation gives this home all the benefits of a properly installed egress window, including:

☀️ Natural Light
🌬️ Fresh Air & Ventilation
🚨 Emergency Escape
🛏️ Bedroom Potential

Out with the Rust. In with the Strength!

Another window well transformation completed in Loveland! 🏡

This home had an existing metal window well that was beginning to rust, and rather than let the deterioration continue, we stepped in with a lasting solution. 💪

An all new Timberwell, gives this home a fresh, clean appearance and a structurally sound window well built to stand strong for years to come! ✅

Rusting window wells can deteriorate over time, making it important to address the problem before it becomes more serious. Replacing an aging well helps restore the appearance of your home while providing dependable, long-term support for the surrounding soil.

👏 Great work by our crew on another quality replacement!

From Looking Out to Stepping Out!

This Fort Collins homeowner had a basement window overlooking the backyard, but wanted something more functional for his family - especially an easier way for the kids to get outside and play! 🏃‍♂️⚽

Our team completed a sliding glass door installation that completely transformed this space, turning it from simply a place to look out at the backyard into a convenient way to access it! 🙌

Now, the family can enjoy easier access to their outdoor space, more flexibility in how they use their space, and a setup designed around what matters most: family time, functionality, and making the most of their home. ❤️

👏 MAJOR KUDOS to our crew on this one! This was a fantastic transformation, and the team did an outstanding job bringing this homeowner’s vision to life. It’s projects like these that show how the right improvement can make a real difference in the way a family lives and enjoys their home!

Thinking about making your space more functional for your family? Let's talk about what's possible!

✨3 Timberwell Replacements = 1 Stunning Transformation!✨

This Loveland home just received a major exterior upgrade with three brand-new window wells! 🛠️🏡

The existing wells had reached the point where replacement was the right choice, and the finished result is absolutely stunning. All three, aligned beautifully, brand new, and structurally sound - creating a clean, uniform look that completely transformed the exterior of the home. 🙌

From improved structural integrity to a fresh, finished appearance, this project was definitely worth seeing through to the final result. 🤩

New window wells can provide:
✅ A stronger, more durable well system
✅ A clean, updated appearance
✅ Better support around your basement windows
✅ Improved functionality and long-term performance

If your window wells are rusting, deteriorating, shifting, or simply showing their age, it may be time to consider replacement before the problems become bigger and more expensive.

🚨BEFORE ➡️ AFTER!✅️

This Fort Collins home recently received a much-needed window well replacement after the existing Timberwell had deteriorated significantly and was showing clear signs of potential structural collapse.

Sometimes the before-and-after photos really do say it all! 👀➡️✨

Replacing a failing window well isn't just about improving the appearance of your home. A deteriorating well can compromise the area around your basement window, affect drainage, and create a safety concern. Acting sooner can help prevent a much bigger problem down the road.

Our crew knocked this project out and the transformation is impressive! 👏🔨 Kudos to the Basement Escape team for another job well done!

If your window well is cracked, rusting, shifting, deteriorating, or showing signs of failure, don't wait until the problem gets worse.
