I was very pleased to recently deliver this k-tip chef custom order to Mike Battey . The blade is CPM 154 stainless. Handle is ringed gidgee and natural maple Burl, both from Rob Harrison .
This knife was meant to complement a pair that I built for Mike a couple years back.
Thank you for the continued support, my friend. I truly hope that these knives serve you well for many many years.
Stay sharp, my friend!

Alejandro Alejandro Estrada came to the event at Iron Steed tonight to pick up his El Tio chef knife.
I met Alejandro some time back at my buddy Luis Padilla’s cabinet shop, and I was very happy to put this knife in his hands today.
Thank you my friend- I truly hope the El Tio serves you and your family for many many years.
