We design and build fine homes and buildings Vision|
Creating your dream should be fun, and living it should be even more so.

From the simplest kitchen remodel to lake cabins and lake shore dream homes (there is a difference), from restaurants to everyday business environments, we provide a wonderful product and an enjoyable and rewarding way for you to get there. Believing in being responsible with one’s resources, Landschute was a “green” builder long before the word was even coined and politicized. Influence|
Through his foreign studies in the medieval German town of Landschute, Jon Monson developed an appreciation for architecture rich in textures, compatible with existing surroundings, and with an integration of architect and builder according to the old master builder practice. Jon and his wife Mary have also been influenced camps of the Adirondacks and the cottages of Nantucket, where simple architectural forms are often the most welcoming, characterful, and timeless of all. Practice|
Jon is one of the small handful of architects who have chosen to go beyond just drawing and talking to actually executing the design and personally molding the vision into reality. You don’t commission any other work of art to be designed by one person and then painted by another; you want the artist to be responsible for every stroke of the brush.

At the water’s edge 🌳⚓️ • This new construction home had a boathouse on the property which we renovated to coordinate with the main house. An understated little gem right on the water that adds so much character to the property overall. Home design, Jon Monson, Landschute, lake house, classic home, timeless home
