Not sure what stopped me at this very spot. Was it the palette—the dark doorway, weathered stone, black ironwork, and a single cognac office chair? Or the need to know the story behind this setup. Who sits here, and what’s behind that door?

Or maybe it was the way the evening light in Cork, Ireland, made the whole scene feel like a film.

It’s the OG BeBe’s birthday! 🎉🥂

My mom, the namesake of BeBe Design House, and our studio manager. I get to call her Mom, and we get to have her keeping things together at the studio—with a little motherly supervision, of course. Because what African mother clocks in and doesn’t immediately appoint herself everyone’s mother at the office? 👀🤦🏾‍♀️😂❤️

Join us in wishing the original BeBe a happy birthday! We love you and celebrate you today! 🎂🎉

A little Monday behind the scenes…

When you tell us you love the natural light, but not so much the neighbors’ view into your living room… 😂

We get to work with our drapery vendor to find that balance. The fabric, the fit, the install—we pull it all together.

Sunday Soulscape: Making time for me.

I signed up for an 8-week challenge to see if I can actually prioritize myself for eight weeks. I’m pretty good at making time for everyone else. Me? Apparently I needed a challenge. That’s the athlete mentality in me. 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Sunday is the only day I get to sleep in, but I decided this was worth it. So at 7:30 this morning, I was out doing a 3+ mile run, HIIT exercises, a 2,000-meter row, and playing my favorite game with the people around me: “Getting to know you, getting to know all about you…” 😂 You know the song. lol.

As physical as this is, my mental health is a big reason I’m here. Life has been throwing plenty of sh*t my way, alongside all the good and blessings. Trust, I’m grateful for the good. I still need somewhere to work through the rest.

Today, that meant giving up sleep for sweat and good company. It’s ok to take time for yourself. Happy Sunday! 🙌🏾

Every project gets a vibe tray—a little mix of colors, textures, and details that feels like you. It’s one of my favorite ways we make each BeBe Design House project personal.

Closing out September with a thank you to the Builders Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania for featuring BeBe Design House during Member Appreciation Month! Proud to be part of this community.

As we grow BeBe Designer Collective, these connections with builders, contractors, designers, and industry professionals mean so much. There’s a lot we can create together—for our clients, our businesses, and Erie.

Sunday Soulscape | Take Me to Church

Whenever I travel, I try to visit a church. I’m obsessed with the architecture and design, whether the space is extravagant or beautifully simple. The tapestries, the stonework, the carved wood, the art—and the history held within it all. I always leave with inspiration for my own work.

I grew up Catholic, though these days I consider myself more spiritual. Walking into a church still brings up a mix of feelings I can’t always explain. Maybe that’s part of why I keep going.

Do you ever visit churches when you travel? Which one has stayed with you? ❤️

What should we do with the exterior of the building?
