It’s almost time for the Scenic Root post PlantCon purge!!

Here’s the game plan:

🌿 Thursday, October 29: We’re kicking things off with planty goodies, merch, supplies, and some plants sprinkled in.

🌿 Friday, October 30: LOTS AND LOTS OF PLANTS! Common, uncommon, carnivorous, rehabs, and more. My goal is to move as much as possible before the cooler weather rolls in.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be posting items for sale in the comments of this post, along with their prices.

* Comment SOLD or CLAIM on anything you want. First claim by timestamp gets it.
* You MUST send me screenshots of your claims. You can send them as you shop or all together when you’re finished. No screenshots = no order pulled!
* Local pickup and delivery available. Shipping starts at $15 and is at the buyer’s own risk.

who’s ready to do a little plant shopping?! Drop a comment below so I can see who’s joining us, and please share this post the more people we reach, the more plants I can find new homes for and maybe you’ll get a freebie with order if I see you shared …

Restock at Gardenhouse Coffee & Espresso Bar !! The Campfire Smores was delicious 🖤

Look who I came home to fully opened!! 😍🌸 Meet Paphiopedilum Smooth Jazz (Chocolate Eagle ‘Burgundy’ HCC/AOS × Duncan York ‘Southard’ AM/AOS), a stunning Lady Slipper Orchid.

🌿 Fun fact: That adorable pouch is actually a pollination trap. It guides visiting insects past the flower’s reproductive structures to help transfer pollen.

I’ll be restocking the Rooted Corner at Gardenhouse Coffee & Espresso Bar with new plants, pins, and stickers this afternoon. Do we have any requests??

We hit 4,800!!!!

Y’all, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Between PlantCon Houston and Dallas, we’ve gotten so much closer to our 2026 goal of 5,000 followers!!

Every like, comment, and share helps grow this little business without paying for advertising, which helps me keep my prices as low as possible for y’all.

And if you’re new here, this is what it’s all about. This little business allows me to stay home with our two girls as much as possible while doing something I love. We aren’t getting rich over here lol, but we make enough to keep this dream going and be present for our girls. And that means everything to me.

Whether you’ve been here since day one, found us at PlantCon, or just stumbled across my crazy plant lady posts, thank you for making this possible.

JUST 200 MORE FOLLOWERS UNTIL OUR BIG 5K GIVEAWAY!!! 🎉🪴Love ya plant fam!

Beaties, missed our plant/band merch at PlantCon? I ship! Here are 3 of our original Scenic Root designs.

I’ve finally started adding our logo to our merch, which was surprisingly hard for me to do. I never wanted our designs to feel like walking advertisements, but I’m learning that there’s nothing wrong with letting people know who created them. We’re a small business, and getting our name out there matters too!

We have hoodies, drop shoulder and cropped tees, sizes small–3XL. On a plant ban? Merch doesn’t count. I asked.

Already own one of our shirts? Love it? Tell everyone below, or better yet, drop a pic rocking it! See something you want? Comment or message me.

“Brooke, can you come down for the booth competition announcement at 4:05?”

Me: “no .. me? Wait, what? Why? I didn’t enter that? Have you SEEN my booth? I’m probably the least cohesive, least themed booth here there is no way someone voted for the booth 🤣.”

“i can’t tell you, just come down.”

Meanwhile, my inner toxic voice: This feels like a setup straight out of Carrie. Like what am I about to have dumped on me?

twist: Scenic Root won 1st place for Staff Choice! 🥹🧚‍♀️ Y’all, I genuinely did not see that coming. My chaotic little plant corner won an award. Thank you so much, PlantCon for the unexpected surprise and another weekend with this wonderful plant community.

Atlanta, y’all have an absolute blast! 🌿
