The Altered Abode Interior Design + Shop Inspired by the Minnesota Northwoods It is my opinion, that your home can serve as your greatest act of self care.

While, I love a beautiful space, I believe the most important thing about our home is the feeling it creates. I think that your home should be a sanctuary from this busy, chaotic, and sometimes scary world that we live in. This is the exact reason why I have brought to life The Altered Abode. My purpose here is to create spaces that inspire others.

So here’s the thing, I love a little home refresh each time a new season rolls around. I’m also heavy on the idea that you don’t need to buy all new seasonal decor every-single-season.

Instead, I feel strongly that investing in a few quality items that feel seasonal without feeling too seasonal so they can 1) stand the test of time and 2) roll into the next season with the right styling.

So, it might go without saying, you’re not going to find a single pumpkin - not at all because I’m against pumpkins - but instead a collection of items that feel like they could fit in any home, any time, yet feel just perfect for fall.
