Tile Artisans from around the country demonstrated their process of making mosaics at TileFest at the The TileWorks of Bucks County this past weekend. They recreated Fonthill Castle, the residence of Henry Chapman Mercer, who is the founder of the TileWorks. It consists of natural stone, porcelain, and handmade tile from the TileWorks, and is 24"x48".

They also fabricated a Mercer-inspired art piece, featuring an eagle, that will be made into a paver. Both pieces were donated to the building. This consists of all Mercer/TileWorks tile.

TileFest is an art festival that celebrates the beauty of handmade tile. Vendors from around the country come to share their passion on the grounds that has been dubbed "The Hogwarts of Tile". We encourage anyone that loves tile to attend--it's truly an experience.

Meet Hunter S. Pondson--created by 8 A.R.T. participants.

A section was mailed to each person, who fabricated their color. It was assembled in an Airbnb in Las Vegas last weekend and was presented at Coverings - The Global Tile & Stone Experience.
