Your home’s first impression starts at the curb.

Most people know us for kitchens, baths, and additions, but our work doesn’t stop at the front door. From a classic red barn to a refreshed colonial, we design exteriors that make coming home feel like an event. They feel warmer, more welcoming, and like they were always meant to look this way.

For more than 12 years, families across Bucks County have trusted us to treat their homes like our own. We listen to how you live, guide every design decision with you, and handle every detail from start to finish so you get the transformation without the hassle.

Our team showed up to the showroom this year dressed as the internet’s greatest hits! We had a Bob Ross happy-little-painter, “You’re doing amazing, sweetie,” Disaster Girl, Arthur’s fist, a zombie who really likes turtles, and plenty more.

How many can you name? 👀

Of course, our designers couldn’t stay out of character for long: “This room needs a soothing, practical, neutral paint color.” Some things never change!

Behind the costumes is the same team that walks every client through their remodel, from the first paint swatch to the final walkthrough. We take care of the details and the stress so you can enjoy a home built around how you actually live. We’ll gladly be the ones who overthink the paint color, so you don’t have to!

👉 Drop your favorite memes in the comments, then stop by our showroom to meet the team (costumes optional) and start planning your own livable remodel.

You asked for a sign… this is your sign. Do the remodel

We know what you’re thinking. A remodel sounds like a lot: the dust, the decisions, the disruption. That’s exactly why so many beautiful kitchens stay a dream.
This one didn’t. It started as a space that worked but never quite felt like them. Now it’s light-filled and elevated, with a sense of calm that invites you to linger over morning coffee and gather long after dinner is done.

Here’s the part most people don’t expect: getting here was the easy part for our homeowners. Our designers guide every choice, so you’re never left guessing. With our livable remodeling approach, your home keeps working for you while the transformation happens around you. We take the hassle out of remodeling, so the only thing you have to do is look forward to the reveal.

A fresh start can begin with something as simple as knowing someone cares. 🤍

This fall, we're proud to participate in The Purse Project, a community initiative supporting women who are rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.

We're inviting our neighbors, friends, and community partners to help us fill new or like-new purses with everyday essentials, including toiletries, warm socks, gloves, scarves, and other items that can offer comfort during a time of transition.

Each completed purse is a small but meaningful gesture of support, reminding its recipient that she has people in her corner as she moves forward. And with the help of our community, we hope to make that next chapter feel a little less overwhelming.

At LBK, we spend every day helping people create homes where they feel safe, comfortable, and truly themselves. We believe everyone deserves that feeling. This season, we’re extending it beyond the homes we build to the women in our community who are starting over, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

👉 Bring your completed purse to LBK Design Build at 4814 York Road in Doylestown by Friday, November 20th. We’ll deliver every purse to the Montgomery County Women’s Center so it reaches a woman in need. One purse. One woman. One new beginning.

Sorry we missed your call… we were getting the house cozy for fall

Is your house ready for guests this season?

Holiday visits are around the corner. This homeowner wanted a space where guests feel truly welcome, so we built one. The suite feels like a private retreat within the home. There’s a comfortable lounge to unwind in at the end of the day, window seats made for morning coffee and watching the leaves change, and a bathroom of their own so guests can settle in without feeling underfoot. Deep green walls and warm wood tones wrap the whole space in a cozy, tucked-in feeling, so a visit feels like a getaway.

Great guest spaces don’t happen by accident. They start with questions like: Who’s coming to stay? How long will they stay? What would make them feel at home? Our design team turns those answers into a layout built for hosting, and our build team brings it to life. That way you can spend the season enjoying your people instead of scrambling for space.

The answer to every problem is… a glass of w**e. Bonus points if it comes from your own cellar

This room feels like a private tasting lounge, just one floor down. Behind the glass door, the bottles sit on display like art. The marble-topped island is there for pouring and lingering, and the soft lighting lets the whole room glow at night.

A space like this starts with one question: “How do you want to feel when you walk in?” Our design team takes that answer and turns it into every finish, every detail, and every layout decision. Then our build team makes it real.

This whole-home refresh changed how the house looks, but more importantly, how it lives!

Outside, the dated stucco is gone. Layered siding, cedar-look shake, and natural stone give the home depth and warmth from every angle, and it finally has the curb appeal it deserved.

In the pantry, a cramped garage-to-kitchen pass-through became a calm, organized pantry. Rich teal cabinetry brings depth and character to the space, while thoughtfully designed storage keeps everyday essentials organized and within reach.

The laundry room has gone from squeezed under low cabinets to a bright laundry space of its own, complete with a folding counter that makes chores easy and a pocket door that keeps it all out of sight.

Finally, an unfinished attic is now a soft blue closet and storage space that feels airy, with its own heating and cooling so it’s comfortable in every season.

What ties it all together is a simple question we ask at the start of every project: what isn’t working, and what could this space become? Some answers are big, like re-cladding an entire exterior. Others hide in plain sight, like an attic you’ve only ever used for boxes. Our design-build team looks at your home as a whole, then plans and builds every piece of it under one roof.

We're incredibly proud to see our owner and CEO, Nick Kornea, recognized as a finalist for the 2026 Fred Case Award!

His dedication to building a strong company culture, leading by example, and continually raising the bar for our industry inspires our entire team. Congratulations, Nick, on this well-deserved recognition!

Nick Kornea knows what can happen when a remodeling company grows faster than its systems. Kornea started LBK Design Build in 2014 after years in construction and several years working in his family’s bath-remodeling business. The early years of his own company were not financially strong, he says. A turning point came in 2018, when he joined a business peer group, Remodelers Advantage, and began the process of rebuilding the company’s accounting, job costing, and margin discipline.
