Today in the South… The Multitasking Mom was on prep duty! 💪🎨

But today’s post is mostly about being the proud wife of the man behind **E & C Painting LLC.** ❤️

My husband has been running his business for **25 years**, and he’s officially up and running here in South Carolina! Today, I helped him prep a house for ceiling paint—because a beautiful finish starts before you ever pick up a brush.

Building our businesses in a new state takes work, patience, and a whole lot of teamwork. I’m proud to be beside him as we put down roots and get to work. 🏡

**Irmo and surrounding areas:** If your home needs a fresh coat of paint, message me to connect with E & C Painting LLC!

A serious reminder from The Multitasking Mom: **look UP into your refrigerator’s ice and water dispenser.**

I’d never owned a fridge with a dispenser before, so checking the spout wasn’t even on my radar. The other day, I looked up into mine and was horrified to find what appeared to be mold. Today, while viewing a home, I checked its ice dispenser. Sure enough, there was visible buildup there too. Ewwww.

We wash our walls, toilets, and floors, but this little spot can be easy to miss.

**Here’s your reminder to check yours:**
🧊 Shine a flashlight up into the ice chute and around the water spout.
🧊 If you see buildup, stop using the dispenser until you’ve cleaned it.
🧊 Check your fridge’s manual for the cleaning instructions and which parts can safely be removed. Gently clean accessible surfaces with a soft cloth or brush and mild soapy water, then wipe and dry them thoroughly.
🧊 If the buildup is deep inside, keeps coming back, or you’re unsure how to take anything apart, **contact the manufacturer with your model number** for guidance.

Please don’t force parts off or spray cleaner up into the dispenser. Every fridge is a little different.

Go take a look. Hidden grossness is still grossness. 😬

Hello friends and clients,
This is a hard post to write. If you're currently on my schedule or have worked with me recently, please know your projects and your trust have meant the world to me, ❤️
Right now, I'm fully booked through the end of August. And after that, my family and business will be relocating to South Carolina. 🌄
Thank you for letting me into your homes and your lives. Thank you for rooting for me. And thank you for the kindness. This has been one of the most challenging and meaningful chapters of my life, and I'm so grateful. ❣️
Truly, from the bottom of my heart. With love, Kate.
