Some causes find you. This one found us.

Alzheimer's touches so many of the people we love, and just this past weekend, someone in our 209 Main family lost the love of their life to it. We're walking for them, and for every family who knows this road.

Wanted: one charming human to help us survive — no, thrive — through the most wonderful, gloriously chaotic time of the year.
209 Main is a boutique furniture store for people who refuse to have a boring living room. We sell inspiration pieces, whole houses of furniture for the brave, and gifts that make you look unique and thoughtful. The holidays are our favorite time of year, and our clients are some of the nicest people you'll ever help.

Your holiday to-do list
Welcome guests, read the room (literally), and help them find The One — sofa, lamp or last-minute gift
Gently talk people into the velvet chair. They'll thank you later.
Style displays so good that customers ask to buy the whole vignette (they can)
Wrap gifts with the precision of a surgeon and the flair of a pastry chef

Make our Instagram almost as gorgeous as the store itself
Turn on the charm at our holiday events

You'll fit right in if you've ever
Created content — and reshot it eleven times for the lighting
Designed or styled a space — and rearranged a friend's mantel uninvited
Merchandised retail — and silently judged a store's displays while shopping

Can't check all four? Relax. Taste, warmth and a working sense of humor matter more than a perfect résumé.
The fine print: 20+ hours a week, November through early January, and available on Saturdays when needed.

Bring your favorite NMJL card, grab a seat and get ready to play pretty with us. Whether you come with friends or arrive on your own, we’ll get you settled at a table and ready for a super fun afternoon of Mahj.

Open Play Prerequisite: Mahjong 101 & 102 or equivalent playing experience. Open Play is designed for players who understand the basics and are comfortable playing without instruction.

Newer player? If you’ve completed Mahjong 101 but aren’t quite ready to play independently, Guided Play is your next step! You’ll get extra help and encouragement at the table while you practice everything you’ve learned.
