What AEC Teams Need Most Before Q4 Close-Out
As Q4 deadlines approach, adding production capacity is only part of the equation.

Teams also need to keep revisions moving, manage coordination comments, and complete QA/QC without compromising delivery standards.

Three areas deserve attention before year-end close-out:

1. Production Capacity: Can the remaining deliverables be completed with available resources?
2. Revision Management: Is there enough time to incorporate feedback and resolve coordination issues?
3. Delivery QA/QC: Is the team allowing time to verify models and documentation before issue?

The pressure isn’t simply to produce more. It’s to deliver the right work, to the required standard, on schedule.

At eLogicTech, we support AEC teams with on-demand BIM and design production capacity, backed by structured QA/QC.

What’s putting the most pressure on your team as Q4 closes out:

capacity, revisions, or delivery reviews?

A BIM model can look complete and still fail delivery QA/QC.
Before issuing your next model, run through these 7 pre-delivery checks:

☑️ Model Integrity — Check warnings, errors, and model health.
☑️ Coordinates & Positioning — Verify shared coordinates and project alignment.
☑️ Geometry & Accuracy — Check model geometry against project requirements.
☑️ Clash & Coordination Status — Review outstanding clashes and coordination issues.
☑️ LOD & Scope Compliance — Confirm modeled elements meet agreed requirements.
☑️ Naming & Data Standards — Verify file naming, parameters, and required information.
☑️ Final Deliverable Audit — Confirm file format, linked references, and issue-ready files.

A model isn’t ready just because modeling is finished. It’s ready when it meets the project’s delivery requirements.
At eLogicTech, QA/QC is built into the delivery process—not left until the last minute.

Which of these seven checks is most often overlooked before delivery?

Q: Will bringing an external BIM team into our project slow down coordination with the GC and trades?

A: No. Coordination works best when the process is aligned with your existing project workflow and responsibilities are clearly defined from the start.

The process starts with understanding your project standards, communication channels, issue-tracking procedures, revision requirements, and approval responsibilities.

At eLogicTech, we align with your established project workflow, track coordination comments, incorporate approved changes, and perform QA/QC before revised models are delivered.

The goal is to add BIM capacity without adding another coordination burden.

Would you rather add BIM capacity or add another coordination burden?

A US architecture firm didn’t hire five BIM modelers. It added them one at a time, over six months, as the work arrived.

Project Context
A US architecture practice wanted a Revit production team it could plan around every month, instead of arranging help project by project.

Client Challenge
Capacity it could count on. Room to grow the team without renegotiating the agreement each time. And a scope clear enough that nobody was guessing where architectural BIM ended.

eLogicTech Scope
Five named consultants: 4 Revit architecture modelers and 1 3D rendering specialist. Up to 170 hours each per month, delivered remotely from India.

Solution Delivered
Two modelers started in November 2025. A third in December, a rendering specialist in February, a fifth in April. Architectural BIM only, with MEP and structure explicitly outside the scope.

Outcome
A production team the firm’s architects could plan around the way they would plan around their own staff, with all work product owned by the client.

Why It Matters
Named people and a fixed monthly allocation is what separates a dedicated team from occasional outsourcing. Everything else follows from that.

Q4 deadlines don’t wait for your BIM team to catch up.

And capacity gaps aren’t always about headcount. They can come from skilled-resource shortages, compressed schedules, and the time required for revisions and QA/QC.

The numbers highlight the pressure:

58% of business leaders say skilled-talent shortages are a barrier to growth.
4 in 5 APAC construction professionals say schedule compression is driving the need for faster decisions.
34% of AECO leaders identify cost control as a top challenge.

Sources: Autodesk 2025 State of Design & Make; Autodesk Construction Cloud/FMI research. These are broader industry findings, not BIM-specific statistics.

The takeaway? Forecast the workload. Check real production capacity. Protect review and QA/QC time before deadlines become delivery risks.

At eLogicTech, we help AEC teams add on-demand BIM and design production capacity while maintaining delivery standards.

Is your Q4 capacity plan built around headcount—or the work still left to deliver?

MYTH: If every system fits in the model, it will fit on site.
REALITY: Geometric fit is not the same as installation feasibility.

A pipe may clear a duct but leave too little room to install a connection. Equipment may fit in its allocated space but lack the access needed for maintenance.

These conditions require more than clash detection. They require installation-focused coordination and QA/QC before the model is released.

BIM coordination must work beyond the screen.

Which installation constraint is easiest to overlook during model review?

Your Scan-to-BIM model can look highly detailed — and still be wrong on site.
That’s the risk when LOD is specified but LOA isn’t.

The real question isn’t just “How detailed is the model?”
It’s “How close is it to reality?”

Our latest blog breaks down where LOA matters, why accuracy disputes happen, and what your Scan-to-BIM scope should define before the scan begins.
