It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and devoted coworker, Robert McCall.

Robert was someone who always went above and beyond, not just for Hoodsly, but for anyone who needed a helping hand. Anyone who had the privilege of working alongside him knew how dedicated he was, no matter what the project. Robert was a vital part of our Hoodsly family and he will be deeply missed.

We know that many in our local community had their own experiences with Robert, and we invite you to join us as we celebrate his life tomorrow, October 16th, at Kings Creek Baptist Church. Receiving will be held from 1-2, followed immediately by a service.

Address:
4698 Kings Creek Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645

We will be closing tomorrow at noon to show our support for Robert’s family during this difficult time.

Hoodsly’s two piece construction makes installing your range hood easy and hassle-free!

Our hoods are designed with a French cleat system that supports the apron while you secure it into the wall studs. Once your ventilation unit has been inspected, simply set the chimney on top.

Still have questions? We have installation videos for both our standard and trimless range hoods on our website or you can contact our tech support team at 877.847.0405 🤳

Before you begin installation, remove the two screws located on the back of your hood. Once the screws have been removed, the chimney will separate from the apron.

Once separated, you can install your ventilation unit into the apron portion of the hood.

Note: If you ordered a trimless range hood, your ventilation unit will arrive pre-installed in the apron portion of the hood.

The French cleat is designed only to support the apron while you’re securing it to the wall studs. It should not be used to bear the full weight of the hood.

We recommend installing your ventilation unit into the apron portion of your hood before mounting it to the wall.

Your hood should be secured to at least two wall studs. If you’re unable to secure it to two wall studs, you’ll need to use toggle bolts.

After you have completed all necessary inspections, you can set the chimney portion of the hood onto the apron.

Once the chimney has been installed, you can install crown molding if desired.

Don’t forget to tag Hoodsly in your photos and videos! We love seeing your finished projects and may feature your kitchen on our social media channels.
