💦 Your pool cover pump is doing its job... but where is all that water going?
As fall rain continues and we head toward winter, keeping excess water off your pool cover is important. But there's one detail that's easy to overlook: where your pump is sending that water.
If the discharge hose isn't positioned properly, you could be creating another problem while trying to solve the first one.
Water draining too close to your pool, home's foundation, or low spots in your yard can collect where you don't want it. It could even find its way right back onto your pool cover!
A few minutes spent checking your setup can help prevent unnecessary headaches later.
✅ Make sure your discharge hose directs water away from the pool and your home's foundation.
✅ Avoid areas where water could collect or create drainage issues.
✅ Check that the hose hasn't shifted, kinked, or become blocked.
