Every room deserves something that makes you smile. 🦋

When I found this butterfly fabric, I knew instantly it belonged in my client’s home. She loves butterflies, and now every time she walks by, there’s a little moment of joy waiting for her. Your home should be your favorite place, and those small, personal touches that speak to your heart are what make it feel that way. Finding pieces I know will strike that chord for a client is one of the things I love most about what I do.

I loved attending For the business of design., a thoughtful day of meaningful, practical conversations about the business behind great design. It was such a pleasure to hear from some of the best in the industry: A Well-Designed Business Podcast, Kate O’Hara, Marketing, Messaging, + Visibility Expert for Interior Designers, Renee deVignier Biery, ASID, and Cheryl Luckett, Charlotte Interior Designer .

A special thank you to Stephen and Stephanie for putting together such an inspiring event, and to the beautiful Grand Bohemian Lodge for hosting. So grateful for the opportunity to learn from such talented voices in our industry!

Looking back at last year's Kips Bay Show House, I find myself just as inspired as I was when I walked through it for the first time. ✨

Some spaces have a way of sticking with you long after you leave. From the bold design choices to the thoughtful details and incredible craftsmanship, every room sparked new ideas and reminded me why I love what I do. Inspiration has a funny way of showing up again when you need it most, and these beautiful spaces are proof that great design never goes out of style.

This trip was all about slowing down, making memories with the people who matter most, and soaking up every moment together as a family. While it’s a chance to recharge, a designer’s mind is never truly off—there’s always inspiration waiting to be found, whether it’s in the colors of the coastline, charming architecture, or the little details that make a place feel special.
