DDI owned by Buddy McDowell & Sherry Decker with 4 interior arch. designers = 160 years of experience

10/27/2026

Last month DDI team had the exciting opportunity to present our custom quiet luxury design with natural textures & calming colors for the Typical King and Double Double Guestrooms along with the thoughtfully designed Guestroom Corridor, to Marriott International and the hotel ownership group.

We were thrilled to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback, exceptional praise and enthusiastic support for our creative vision. This successful model room design review marked an exciting milestone, allowing our dynamic duo; Katie Karnes & Ryan Wayne Partin to move forward with confidence in bringing our distinctive design concept to life throughout all 401 guestrooms and 8 suites across the 22 floor existing hotel property.

We are incredibly proud of this creativity, thoughtful detailing, and collaborative effort behind this design and look forward to seeing our vision transform into a beautiful, cohesive, and memorable guest experience.
