Question for the professionals:❓️❓️

What would you do? Customer wants to remove texture. Scrape the popcorn, remove texture and board compleley, or sandwich it with new panels and start fresh? This home was built in 1973. 1/2' Drywall installed on ceiling joists 16" on center. Attic has has original insulation.

Vintage, Vintage, Retro📸🖼⌛️.
Which ones which?

I looked up the definition today because I thought I was Retro🙃😎. Turns out I'm vintage. Retro is something new dressed in vintage clothing 🤷‍♂️. That, I am not. But, I am doing new things. And that's the point of this post. Do new things. Don't be afraid to try something that you normally wouldn't. It will probably be uncomfortable, but It's the only way to grow.
