Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

We celebrated a little early on Thursday with our annual HDB Pumpkin Carving Party at the Henderer Farm!

This year we had a few extra special guests: Shelley & Dave’s new mini Highland cows, Frannie & Fergus (5 months old), and Rylee’s horse O’Malley (5 months old) and his friend Buddy (26 years old)! 🐮🐴

Pumpkin carving, animals, food, and plenty of Halloween fun made for a pretty great evening with the Henderer crew.

We hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween night! 🎃

Our newest project is live! 🌲

We rebuilt this PNW contemporary timber-frame home from nearly the ground up, focusing on strength, longevity, and the natural beauty of wood.

Exposed timber framing, wood-clad walls and ceilings, custom cabinetry, mirrored staircases, copper details, and thoughtful craftsmanship run throughout this Timber Homestead.

Take a look at the full project on our website!

Happy 4th Hendererversary to Matt! 🎉

Matt started with Henderer as a carpenter and has since become an integral part of our cabinetry team. We’re lucky to have him and appreciate all the hard work he puts in every day. Thanks for four great years, Matt, and for always holding it down in the shop! 💙

Designed for the way you work. 🧵

This built-in lift raises the sewing machine into the countertop, with a clear acrylic insert that creates a flat surface around it so fabric glides easily while sewing.

When it’s not in use, the machine lowers out of sight, and the countertop insert goes back in, giving the homeowner their full work surface back!

Time for a few team introductions! 👋

Please help us welcome Krysta, our newest Designer, and Robert, our newest Carpenter! We’re excited to have them both on the Henderer team and are looking forward to all they’ll bring to our projects and clients.

And while Kyle isn’t new around here, his headshot is! He’s coming up on his one-year anniversary and has been a valued part of our carpentry team. We figured it was the perfect excuse to give him a little spotlight too. 😊

Head to our website to learn more about Krysta, Robert, Kyle, and the rest of the Henderer team! https://www.hendererdesignbuild.com/home-remodeling-team-2/

Happy National Boss’s Day! 🎉

Here’s to Dave, Shelley, Andy, Brianna, and Jacob for leading by example, supporting our team, and making Henderer such a great place to work. We appreciate everything you do and feel so fortunate to have such an incredible group of leaders! 💙

Why can three contractors look at the same remodel and come back with three very different numbers? 🤔

One quotes you $80K, one quotes you $100K, and another quotes you $125K. How can the numbers be so different for the same remodel?

Our newest blog breaks down why remodeling quotes can vary so much and what homeowners should actually be comparing.

Happy Thursday! Throwing it back to some pretty awesome before-and-after angles.

It’s always so satisfying when we get the angle spot on. Crazy how much a space can change with a little love!
