🎃🐈‍⬛ SCROLL TO FIND THE CAT! 🐈‍⬛🎃

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up another beautiful flooring transformation for our wonderful returning clients right here in Commerce, MI! 🙌

Previously, the bedrooms had carpet throughout that was ready for an upgrade. We got things started by removing all the old carpet and padding, then cleaning and prepping the subfloor to get everything ready for the new flooring. From there, we installed brand-new Blue Ridge Pine by COREtec LVP, finished everything off with matching new quarter round, and brought these rooms to life with a fresh, updated look!😍🔥

The difference is night and day, and our clients couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Next up, a fresh paint job and these bedrooms will be as good as new😎

🍂🎃 TUB IT UP! 🎃🍂

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up a brand-new hot tub foundation pad for another amazing client right here in Milford, MI! 🙌

With exterior season quickly coming to a close, we’re making the most of these beautiful sunny days while we still can before Michigan weather puts a freeze on those outdoor projects!😭

Just last week, our client reached out to see if we could get her new hot tub pad installed before winter hits. Despite a busy schedule packed with other projects, we were able to squeeze her in this week so she can kick back, relax, and enjoy her new backyard setup just in time for the colder months! 🔥🥶

💡✨ LET THERE BE LIGHT! ✨💡

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up a much-needed facelift on a garage storage room for our wonderful returning clients right here in Commerce, MI! 🙌

Previously, this space was dark, musty, and in desperate need of some attention. We started by removing the old ceiling tiles and insulation, replacing them with all-new R-19 faced insulation to give the ceiling a fresh start. We also removed the outdated lighting and addressed the electrical concerns before installing six new LED recessed lights to completely brighten things up! From there, we hung all-new drywall on the ceiling, taped, mudded, and sanded everything smooth, then primed the new drywall and existing stained plywood walls before finishing the entire room with two fresh coats of paint. 💪

The end result? A night-and-day difference!😍🔥 Our customers now have a much brighter, cleaner space with a fresh new look, and we couldn’t be happier with how this phase turned out! But the best part? WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 👀

This project is being completed in phases, which means the existing flooring, window, and door are staying put for now. Those upgrades will be tackled down the road as we continue bringing this space back to life, one phase at a time. 😎

At Thorpe Bros, we believe in finding the right approach for every project and helping each of our clients get the most out of their space while working within their budget. Not every project needs to happen all at once, and sometimes the best results come from having a plan and tackling it step by step!🤓

💪😎 LAYIN’ IT DOWN! 😎💪

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up this beautiful new walkway and gravel shed driveway for another wonderful client right here in Milford, MI! 🙌

Previously, the shed door sat significantly lower than the surrounding grade, creating some water issues during the winter months. Our customer was looking for a solution, so we helped guide him toward a gravel driveway to promote better drainage, along with a French drain installed directly in front of the door to help keep that water where it belongs! 💧👌

Additionally, we installed an oversized walkway that wraps around the shed, making it easier to navigate the property’s hilly terrain while adding a clean, finished look to the space🔥

Another job complete, another problem solved, and another happy customer!✅

💪😎 ANOTHER ONE DOWN! 😎💪

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up this beautiful new concrete patio and walkway for another wonderful customer in Brighton, MI! 🙌

Previously, the old paver walkway suffered from some major settling issues, which was causing water to pool up throughout the area 🙅‍♂️. Not only was there a structural issue, but the old pavers also gave this home a very dated feel and a bad aesthetic. We got to work removing all the existing pavers, grading the area for proper drainage away from the foundation, and giving this yard the look it desperately needed with a beautiful new concrete patio and walkway that’s ready to stand the test of time. 💪

Another job complete and ready to host some fall hangouts with friends and family! 🍁🔥

🔥 ABSOLUTELY FLOOR-GEOUS! 🔥

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros installed some brand new LVP flooring for a wonderful returning customer of ours right here in Commerce, MI! 🙌

Previously, these bedrooms had some very old carpet that made the spaces feel dull and outdated. We demoed all of the old carpet and padding and laid beautiful new Lifeproof LVP and shoe moulding throughout , giving these spaces a much-needed facelift that really brightens up the entire area! ✨

It’s amazing that a simple change like this can completely transform the look and feel of a room, and we think these bedrooms turned out fantastic. Another job complete, another happy customer!😎

🎬🍿IT’S SHOWTIME! 🍿🎬

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up this beautiful media wall and lighting upgrade for another wonderful client right here in Fenton, MI! 🙌

What started as a pretty ordinary, plain room is now the perfect spot to hunker down for those cozy fall movie nights. 🎥🍂 We added a new dark accent wall to give the TV a much better backdrop, a new custom floating entertainment shelf with built in lighting, along with a new light fixture to tie in with the drapes and two beautiful brushed-gold sconces to really complete the space.😍

And we didn’t stop there! We also installed a new chandelier in the foyer and a new light in the basement, both bringing in those same warm tones and helping tie the colors throughout the home together.🔥

A few simple changes can make a HUGE difference in how a room feels. This one went from plain to a pretty awesome place to kick back and hit play!🍿

🔥SMALL UPDATE, HUGE DIFFERENCE!🔥

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up this small bathroom update for another awesome client right here in Commerce, MI!🙌💪

Previously, this bathroom had a barn door for an entry, which offered very little privacy. The darker colors also made the already-small space feel even tighter and darker.🤦‍♂️

We swapped out the barn door for a new 24” interior door, then added new beadboard, chair rail, and base moulding throughout to give the space a brighter, cleaner, and more finished look. A few simple changes made a huge difference in the overall feel of the bathroom!🙌

The customer will be putting the finishing touches on the space themselves with a fresh coat of paint and a new vanity, so we’re excited to see the finished look once they’re all done!😎

🔥💪SOLID AS IT GETS!💪🔥

On today’s job, Thorpe Bros wrapped up another concrete foundation pad for another wonderful customer right here in Commerce, MI!🙌

A new shed is only as good as what it’s sitting on! Instead of settling for a dirt, gravel, or wood foundation where the lifespan can diminish over time, we built this one on a solid, level concrete foundation that will keep everything sitting pretty for many years to come!🔥

Another project in the books and another very happy customer!✅
