Georgia falls don't announce themselves one week it's 80 degrees, the next it isn't. Before that switch flips: check weatherstripping around doors and windows, get your HVAC serviced before the first cold snap (not during it), and look for gaps around pipes or vents where the outside gets in.

None of this requires calling us it's just the stuff worth doing now instead of in January. Save this one for later.

Test your smoke detectors (not just the batteries the units themselves age out around 10 years), know where your electrical panel is and keep the area clear, and make sure every bedroom has a real way out. Simple stuff, easy to forget.
