Guys!! I'm really excited to be able to make another batch of these eco-friendly waxed bread bags!

They are a perfect bag to keep your bread fresh and avoid yucky plastic! These are made with cotton fabric, coated with beeswax and jojoba oil, have a cotton drawstring, and measure 11.5" x 15". I make them with French seams for a nice, easy to clean finish. Simply brush out the crumbs! Beeswax is antibacterial and the bags should require minimal washing. When needed, simply hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and air dry.

Important update for those that have been waiting on me to make more waxed bread bags

This will be my ONLY batch this year! If you want a bag, please comment or message me so I can plan accordingly.

I currently have enough supplies to make 3 bags without ordering anything. The fabric choices I have are the last 4 pictures and the quantity available is in the caption.

If there is demand for more than 3 bags, I will order the remaining supplies and can also pick up more fabric choices (first picture is one example)

Remember this cute shelf I thrifted last month?

She finally got hung up this week and I played around decorating it. I'm sure I'll tweak it... more than a couple times, till it's just as I like (in fact, since this picture I've already changed a couple things). And then, I'll rearrange it again to change it up! 😂😆

One of my favorite fall breakfasts is carrot cake pancakes! 🥞🥕👌A couple cups finely grated carrot, and a teaspoon of cinnamon added to your favorite buttermilk pancake recipe is all it takes for these delicious pancakes. In this batch, I did half all purpose flour and half whole wheat and they were amazing. I also like to add pecans and top with pure maple syrup or some whipped cream cheese. I hope you try them and enjoy!!

My cottage garden by the deck is blooming so well and even has a 2nd round of plants now blooming from seeds dropped earlier this summer. I'm savoring these final days/weeks of flowers. I'm a summer girl at heart because of the blooms, but this time of year always pulls me in two directions, I'm longing for cold nights and cool days with the woodstove going, but then most of my plants will be dormant or gone. It's so wonderful to live where we get to experience 4 seasons!
