Our team traveled to North Carolina for High Point Market to discover new pieces, connect with trusted vendors, and find inspiration for the homes we create for our clients.

From tailored furniture skirts and vintage inspired florals to rich textures and natural materials, we saw so many details that bring depth, character and individuality to a space.

We’re bringing these fresh ideas back to our projects, with plenty more to share!

This week’s before and after is a small kitchen, big transformation situation!

This young family came to us with a new baby added to their brood and a new house in their ideal neighborhood. The home was in need of an extensive renovation, including the kitchen and baths as well as furniture and decor.

The house was an upsize for them while still being efficient in layout. With no room to expand, we had to work within our existing constraints to make this kitchen more functional. The main takeaway from our project kickoff meeting was they were considering yellow cabinetry and Mediterranean inspired vibes. OF COURSE we were in!

Ditching the soffits and the glass block were a no brainer. We were also able to expand the pantry and mudroom storage, upgrade the appliances and lighting (without cans!) and top it off with quartzite counters and a gorgeous zellige mosaic backsplash.

Big changes produce big results! Take a scroll through for the kitchen tour and don’t miss the last slide for the full effect!

The finishing touches are falling into place at our tiki bar + basement project, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular.

Statement wallpaper is up, playful blue tile wraps the curved bar, striking stonework anchors the fireplace, and a cozy nook is coming to life.

Every element brings another layer of color, texture, and personality to a space that celebrates bold design and distinctive craftsmanship.

With just days until completion, we’re working up (+out) to the final reveal. This is one you won’t want to miss!

The inspiration vs. the reality. And everything that happens in between.

A little color, unexpected textures, and plenty of personality. Every room begins with a vision, and our mood boards are where the magic starts to take shape.

It’s where we explore the possibilities, play with combinations, and bring together the details that make a space feel entirely its own.

And seeing those initial ideas come to life? That’s our favorite part.

From the feeling we imagined to the room we created, here’s a little look at how inspiration becomes reality.

What started as a COVID-era consultation turned into a full-blown design partnership over the next two years.

These clients came to us at an exciting turning point: they’d found their dream home and were ready to upsize! Even better, they had the opportunity to make this historic row home entirely their own through renovation and decorating, (mostly) before moving in.

One room that was high on the priority list? The living room. While it didn’t need any renovation, it’s the first room you see when you walk through the front door, so we wanted it to make an impact. We also needed to reserve the perfect spot for a baby grand piano in the front bay.

We started with fresh aqua walls and went a bit deeper on the ceiling to highlight the architectural cove. A patterned rug brought those colors together with unexpected notes of purple and rust rounding out the palette. And a two-tone chandelier strikes just the right balance between the home’s historic character and a more modern sensibility.

The original curved bay windows were one architectural detail our clients would have happily left untreated. But privacy and light control had other plans! Enter: semi-sheer Priscilla drapes with beaded tiebacks. Open, they let the light pour in; closed, they soften the sunlight and provide privacy. Best of all, they add a layer of texture and make the whole room feel finished.

What’s your favorite detail in this room?

We’re now booking full-service design projects for 2027! Ready to make your dream home a reality? Find our client inquiry form at the link in our bio.

Throwing it back this Thursday to one of our favorite Primary Suite transformations! Our clients were a young family with a small child ready to upgrade from their condo to their first house. They needed more room, and wanted to make this new space feel like the warm, welcoming home they’d always dreamed of. We overhauled their kitchen, primary suite, kids bathroom, and basement bathroom. See the other spaces in our portfolio under Tiled & Styled.

The layout of their primary suite needed a major overhaul. A long, narrow room is definitely a challenge, but we had enough of a foot print to make a drastic change. Not to be a hater, but stairs leading up to a drop in tub gives us hives, and it was definitely a concern for their young child. We created a wet room to combine the shower and tub in one space. This way we were able to remove the awkwardly placed shower, and extend the vanity along the rest of the wall to provide much needed linen storage.

The star of the show is of course the blue tub. Talk about making a statement in a way that is still elegant and peaceful. A few of our other favorite details are the hand blown glass sconces at the vanity and how the brass fixtures pop against the beautiful Zellige tile. Our clients asked for peaceful oasis they could relax in after a long day, and I think we delivered!

Whether you’re ready to upgrade your home and take on the gut renovation you’ve been talking about forever, buy a new home but need help with the vision, build the home you’ve always dreamed of, or finally decorate your home the way you’ve always wanted now that your kids are older or out of the house - we’re here to help. Our books are closed for the year, but are taking on projects to begin in January and beyond! Contact link in bio to get started.

Timeless and modern. Fresh and current, but designed to stand the test of time. That’s the balance we love to strike in our designs. But there’s one thing nobody ever questions: they’re full of color.

Color is powerful. It can lift your mood on a gray Chicago morning, make a big room feel warm and inviting, or turn a small space into a cozy hideaway. It shows off your personality, makes a house feel lived in and gives every room its own story.

And every color sparks something different. Blues can feel calm and grounding. Greens bring the outdoors in. Yellows feel cheerful and full of energy. Reds and pinks add warmth and a little drama. When we design a home, that’s exactly what we’re after: rooms that make you feel something every time you walk in.

What color makes you happiest? Tell us in the comments.
