The days are getting shorter, and while the weather has been warm, winter will arrive soon enough. It is a good time to think about low temperature sensors/freeze alarms which typically trigger a low-temperature/freeze alert when ambient room temperature drops below 45°F. This is particularly important for second home owners, or if you think you may be traveling this winter, as a low temperature warning can give you enough time to restore heat before your pipes freeze. Call Atlantic Security, Inc at 410-778-6112 for more information.

July 13th, 1956 was the opening day of the Dartmouth Summer Research on Artificial Intelligence in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is where the term " Artificial Intelligence" was coined by computer scientist John McCarthy.

The goal of the two month workshop was to explore the odea that "every aspect of learning or any other feature of intelligence can in principle be so precisely described that a machine can be made to simulate it"

70 years later, "AI" is used in everyday technology including cars, TV's smartphones...the list is endless.
