Historic bridges help tell a community’s story and thoughtful engineering helps carry that story forward. November is Historic Bridge Awareness Month. Throughout the month, we’re highlighting LDG projects that demonstrate the care, coordination, and technical expertise involved in preserving these distinctive structures.

A piece of Bradford County history is ready for the road ahead. The ribbon cutting for the rehabilitated Cons Road Bridge celebrated a structure that has carried travelers over Towanda Creek since 1904. Repairs preserved its historic metal truss while helping it continue to serve the community. LDG is proud to have supported this effort alongside Bradford County, PennDOT and the project partners who helped bring it to completion. We’ll share a closer look at the project and the work behind its rehabilitation next month. Stay tuned!

LDG is proud to share in the 2026 ACAP Partnership Award for collaborative conservation efforts in Luzerne County, PA!

Congratulations to employee-owners Eddie Stockert, Teah Murray, Adam Winey, and Josh Glace, alongside our partners at the Luzerne Conservation District, Susquehanna Conservation District, and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Together, they coordinated funding and expertise to move long-stalled projects forward, support agricultural producers, and improve water quality.

New spaces. New possibilities. 🏫

LDG’s design for the 32,667-square-foot Del City Middle School addition supports a growing school community with a dedicated sixth-grade center that helps younger students transition into middle school. Classrooms provide room to learn, a gymnasium doubles as a storm shelter, and a former wrestling room finds new purpose as a band room—creating opportunities through both new construction and thoughtful reuse.
