Listen closely and you might hear it already: a brass band of clowns, a dancer turning under the lights, a constellation being hoisted into place, waiting for its cue.
This November, Pangea, the duo of Laëtitia Rouget and Colombine Jubert, has dreamed up a winter carnival for PORTA, with a small collection of objects that look ordinary but hide something a bit more magical. We can’t say much yet, except that crowns are very much involved.
On Saturday, November 7, we’re throwing open the curtain and turning the shop and garden into a fairground, with tarot readings, face painting, treats, games, and performers throughout the afternoon. Bring the whole family, and dress as if you were running away with the circus.
