Pittsburgh doesn't do flat. Every terrace, pool deck and lawn on a hillside is built, and the part that matters most is the part you never see: the wall, the drainage behind it and the compacted base under the stone. One inch of rain puts about 623 gallons on every 1,000 sq ft, and freezing nights climb fast next month.

Concrete costs more than vinyl or fiberglass. So why choose it?

Because a concrete pool is built for your ground, not dropped into it.

→ Design freedom. Fiberglass shells come from a maker’s catalog, most no wider than about 16 feet. Concrete has no preset shape, size, or depth.

→ Pittsburgh ground. Sloped, clay-heavy lots are common here. We specify a concrete shell for your slope, soil, and groundwater.

→ A shell that stays. The finish is a separate layer, so you can renew it without touching the structure. A vinyl liner is replaced whole.

A whole backyard transformation! 🤯

It started with the pool: we upgraded this family’s 16' x 36' pool with a new liner, new equipment, and an automatic cover. Then we master planned everything around it, and a 3D design from let them see every detail before construction began.

Here’s what else we built:

🏊 New coping, lighting along the pool edge, and 1,790 sq ft of pavers
🍽️ L-shaped outdoor kitchen with leathered Steel Grey counters and a built-in beverage cooler and gas grill
🌿 Dining deck with cable railing overlooking the water
☀️ Motorized louvered pergola
🛁 Spa deck
🔥 Fire pit terrace surrounded by boulders, plantings, and landscape lighting
