Pearson Design Group offers a broad range of design aesthetics, which is reflective of our inventive and creative spirit.

While architecture may begin with something sublime-an attraction to site, a quality of light, or a dream of space- it quickly proceeds to innumerable choices. In all projects, large or small, we work hard to develop a dynamic response to the site and to the client. By listening to our clients, we have honed the conception process to the highest degree; ensuring a building experience replete with integrity and a focused delivery. Our projects range from large multi-structure ranch and family camps to intimate, highly detailed ski retreats. This lake home was designed around one idea: the doors don't just open to the water, they disappear into it. Fold them back and the porch becomes the dock with a boat waiting at the water's edge. This client didn't want just a view of the lake, they wanted the lake to be part of the home.

Set into a forested hillside above a lake, this home steps down toward the water in a series of connected levels. Dark-stained siding and expansive glass let the structure recede into the trees, while the interiors lean into natural stone, warm wood, and quiet, tactile materials. A palette built to hold its own against the view outside every window.

Set in the heart of Big Sky, Chalet Redux is small in footprint but rich in presence. This 1,750-square-foot retreat feels like a rediscovered cabin from another era. The design recalls the character of a Forest Service outpost, reimagined for modern life.

Our architecture team shaped the retreat around that idea, and when it came time to bring the interiors to life, our interiors team took it from there. Two independent branches, each doing what they do best.
