Do I need more Christmas plates? Absolutely not! But when has that ever stopped me? πŸ˜‚πŸŽ„

I couldn't resist these adorable Santa Hat accent plates from the Southern Living Sweet Christmas collection at Dillard's!

Of course, I had to see how they'd look paired with my beloved Bordallo Pinheiro green cabbage plates. Add a little pink gingham, a pretty green napkin, and a big red bow, and Santa is ready for Christmas dinner! πŸŽ…πŸŽ€

And wouldn't you know it, Dillard's has several more Southern Living Christmas salad plates that have caught my eye!

I've put the link to my Santa platesin the comments for anyone else who has a weakness for pretty Christmas dishes!

Now be honest, have you finished collecting Christmas china, or are you still finding room for just one more plate? πŸ˜‚

Y’all, THIS is why I needed a Dish Room! πŸ˜‚πŸ’™

You’d think having an entire room dedicated to dishes, glassware, linens, and entertaining would slow down my treasure hunting. Well… you’d be wrong! 🀣

This weekend’s estate sale adventures brought home some fabulous finds, and I’m not apologizing for a single one!

πŸ’™ Bormioli Rocco Bahia glasses that hold a special place in my heart

πŸ’š Beautiful Portuguese chargers with the prettiest cutout and embossed floral details

πŸ’™ Johnson Brothers Denmark Blue china

🌸 Stacks of gorgeous napkins and napkin rings

πŸ’™ Two blue-and-white chinoiserie lamps for my Blue Willow Room

✨ A beautiful International Silver Countess silverplate service for eight, still in its original factory wrapping!

And we even made a Facebook Marketplace detour for some lovely Minton Rose china that originally came from a flea market near my hometown of Blairsville, Georgia!

Oh, and that sweet little lady head vase? I spotted her hiding on a back shelf. You know I couldn’t leave her behind!

I’ve always believed beautiful dishes are meant to be used, enjoyed, and shared. And there’s nothing I love more than finding vintage treasures and giving them a new life around the table.

Now, I just have one little problem…

I might need to expand the Dish Room! πŸ˜‚

Tell me, which treasure would YOU have brought home? And please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t resist a good estate sale!

πŸ‚ Fall decorating with vintage china, Bradley Acres style!

Who says beautiful dishes have to stay on the table?

One of my favorite ways to decorate for the seasons is by giving the plate rack my husband, Rodney, built for me a little switcheroo!

For fall, I'm trading my beloved blues for warm browns, rich rusts, and golden yellows. And y'all, I actually put away EVERY blue plate! Somebody check on me! πŸ˜‚πŸ’™

This time, I'm mixing vintage china, a beautiful platter gifted to me by Jane & Lizzie's, and some new dishes made in Portugal that I found at HomeGoods. And I have to wonder, could those Portuguese beauties have come from the same factory as my beloved Bordallo Pinheiro? πŸ€”

I love mixing old and new, different patterns, colors, and textures to create a collected look. Everything doesn't have to match perfectly to look beautiful together. In fact, I think it's much more interesting when it doesn't!

And the best part? I didn't have to buy a single thing for this fall refresh! I just shopped my own collection. Which, considering the size of my Dish Room, probably isn't all that surprising! 🀣

So before you head out to buy more seasonal decorations, take another look at the dishes you already own. Beautiful china isn't just for setting the table. It's a wonderful way to bring color, pattern, and personality into your home!

🍽️ Do you decorate with your dishes, or do you save them for the table?

Okay I had a few comments that my Barbie needed To***co Leaf as well as accessories such as a Dish Room.

Anybody have any connections to doll makers because I seriously want the doll and all the Dish Room. πŸ˜‚

Well, y'all know I wasn't going to pass up an opportunity to see gorgeous table linens and meet the talented and creative mind behind Mrs. Alice ! πŸ’—

I headed to Atlanta for a lovely afternoon with Alice and had the chance to see pieces from her beautiful Autumn collection in person.

And goodness gracious, those tablecloths! 😍

There were gorgeous fall tablescapes, colorful patterned linens, and so many beautiful details. You know I'm a firm believer that a patterned tablecloth can be the starting point for an entire table setting, and I was already imagining which dishes I'd pull from my Dish Room to go with some of these beauties!

Naturally, my wish list grew a little longer. Rodney probably won't be surprised. πŸ˜‚

I've shared some of the tables and pieces that caught my eye in this Reel.

Now I want to know, which piece would YOU bring home? And are you a patterned tablecloth girl like me?

Y'all loved the Dish Room tour, so let's take a closer look at one of my favorite collections... COLORFUL GLASSWARE! πŸ’—πŸ’™πŸ’š

Choosing just FIVE favorites wasn't easy, but each of these has a story!

🧑 The Showstopper: A gorgeous orange and gold vintage flute. I wish I could find another because I broke its mate. I haven’t even been able to identify it so if you can help, that would be great!!

πŸ’™ The Estate Sale Treasure: A Portieux Vallerysthal blue opaline goblet I found for just $2! I kept trying to rush my husband out the door before they could tell me there had been a pricing error.

🩷 The Unexpected Favorite: My Mosser Gigi Crown in Tuscan Pink from Replacements. I never considered myself a pink girl, but here we are!

πŸ’š The Workhorse: Fostoria Moonstone in multiple colors. These beauties find their way onto my tables again and again.

πŸ’• The Sentimental Favorite: Bormioli Rocco Bahia, which reminds me of a dear friend from Beautiful Table Settings, the Facebook group where my tables found their first audience.

One thing I've learned through years of collecting and creating tablescapes is that colorful glassware can completely change the look of a table. It can pull a color from your china, complement your linens, or introduce an unexpected pop of color.

And y'all know my philosophy... coordinate, don't match!

Now tell me, WHICH ONE would you choose for your table?

I'll be sharing more about each of these favorites, including where I found them and how I use them in my table settings.

My love for monograms goes all the way back to the early ’80s when I received my very first one, a purple monogrammed sweater, in middle school! πŸ’œ So when I had the opportunity to choose a color for these beautiful monogrammed salad plates, purple was an easy choice! It brought back memories of that sweater, and apparently, some things never change because I still love a good monogram!

These beautiful salad plates were gifted to me by Jane & Lizzee, and I just love how they look layered into a place setting! A monogram adds such a personal touch to a table, and these are pieces you can mix and match with so many different china patterns.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marilynn and Maree, the sisters behind Jane & Lizzee, at the Beautiful Table Settings Bash in Wetumpka, Alabama. And y’all, I love the story behind their business just as much as I love their beautiful pieces!

Their family business, Ceramic Treasures, was started by their mother, Elizabeth, in Louisiana in 1986, and they're celebrating 40 years in business this year! What began with a love of ceramics has grown into a family legacy, and Jane & Lizzee carries on that tradition with beautiful personalized pieces for the home.

You know how much I appreciate pieces with a story, especially when family, tradition, and entertaining are all part of it!

Now, National Monogram Day was Monday, but the celebration is still going! πŸŽ‰

Jane & Lizzee is offering 25% OFF custom monogram items through Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM!

πŸ’• Use code MONOGRAM25 at checkout.

I'll share my Jane & Lizzee affiliate link in the comments so you can browse their collection. And if you've been thinking about personalized Christmas gifts, this might be a good time to get a little shopping done!

Now tell me, are you a monogram lover? And do you prefer a traditional three-letter monogram or a single initial?

These salad plates were gifted to me by Jane & Lizzee. This post contains an affiliate link, which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through my link at no additional cost to you.
