Granite and Quartz Solve Different Design Problems

Granite gives you natural variation and a more individual surface. Quartz offers greater pattern consistency and easy care. Instead of asking which is “better,” ask what you want the material to do in the room.

In a Small Kitchen, Would You Choose More Storage or More Counter?

Adding cabinets can solve clutter; keeping more open counter can make daily prep easier. The right answer depends on what frustrates you most in the current room.

What would you choose: STORAGE or COUNTER SPACE?

A Bathroom Refresh Can Start With One Surface

A new vanity top can change the bathroom’s color balance, introduce a cleaner pattern, and make the room feel more finished without a full redesign.

Why a Waterfall Edge Reads More Architectural

The stone continues vertically, so the island feels like one complete form instead of a cabinet box with a top. That continuity is what gives the detail its architectural effect.

Ask FLOFORM in Beaverton whether a waterfall island fits your layout.

Halloween, the Minimalist Way 🎃

A few black accents, warm candlelight, and one or two pumpkins are enough when the kitchen already has strong materials and clean lines.

Happy Halloween from FLOFORM in Beaverton!

Black Cabinets + Light Stone: Too Bold or Just Right?

High contrast can make a kitchen feel graphic and intentional, especially when the rest of the palette stays simple. Warm wood flooring can soften the look if needed.

Vote: TOO BOLD or JUST RIGHT?

The Island as Sculpture

Clean lines, continuous stone, and minimal styling let the island read almost like a piece of furniture. It becomes a focal point without relying on color or ornament.

Save this if you like quieter, design-forward kitchens.

Warm White Is Not the Same as Bright White

A warm white countertop can still brighten the room while pairing more naturally with oak, cream paint, and softer metals. Undertone matters as much as overall lightness.

Review from a customer in Winnipeg:

"From the start of this project, we received excellent service and advice. Caleigh Ramsey was our design consultant and she was excellent. We enjoyed working with her and her experiences and expertise were very helpful in making decisions.

The team of two gentlemen that installed the countertops were also excellent and did a great job.

Dwayne the tile installer was here this week and he installed our beautiful white tile backsplash perfectly! We love the quality products we purchased from Floform!

We waited many years to do this kitchen update and we’re so pleased that we chose Floform Countertops"
