A new month, a fresh start, and another opportunity to make room for what matters.

As we head into a season of gratitude and giving, I’m reminded that making a difference doesn’t always require a big gesture.

Sometimes, it’s simply taking the time to show up for the things that matter to us, our families, and our communities.

I’ve already cast my vote! And I hope you’ll take the time to make your voice heard, too.

Election Day is this Tuesday, November 3. If you haven’t voted yet, make a plan to get out and vote!

Here’s how to organize your holiday decorations:

Getting ahead with your holiday decor can make decorating day so much easier.

1. Take inventory of what you already have.
2. Purge broken, outdated, or unused decorations.
3. Categorize items by holiday, color, or theme.
4. Use clear bins so you can easily see what’s inside.
5. Label each container with its contents for quick access next year.

If you no longer use certain decorations but they’re still in good condition, consider donating them to someone who will enjoy them.

🧥 It’s officially coat season! 🍂

The temperatures are dropping, and it’s time to bring those jackets, sweaters, and heavier coats back into rotation!

But before you start piling everything into the coat closet, take a few minutes to give it a seasonal reset. Move lighter jackets out of the way, check what still fits, and make sure the coats, scarves, and gloves you reach for most are easy to grab.

A little organization now can make those chilly mornings a whole lot easier!

Home Perspective really grew out of my own life experiences. ❤️

I’ve organized my own home, prepared for major moves, and gone through the emotional process of clearing out a loved one’s estate.

I’ve been through all of it, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel.

As I’ve said before, “I have lived it and done it, and now I know how to do it better.”

Looking back on those experiences, I remember wishing I had someone who could step in, help me make decisions, and just make things a little easier. Someone who understood what I was going through because they’d been there, too.

And that’s really where the idea for Home Perspective came from.

I wanted to be that person for someone else.
Whether you’re trying to get your home organized, preparing for a move, or working through a major life transition, I understand that it’s not always just about the stuff.

There’s often a lot more that goes into it.

So, if you’re facing one of those moments and could use an extra set of hands or a little guidance, I’d love to help. Sometimes having someone by your side makes all the difference.
