From the site aerial to the circular stair tower, the geometry at Wildcat Hollow is in place.

With structural steel set and the downtown Austin views framed, the focus shifts to the connections. Joining board-formed concrete curves to straight steel framing takes exact field coordination, and the trades are holding every tolerance.

More to come as framing wraps and we head into finishes.

Framed in the hills. Structural steel and cast-in-place concrete are complete, with the house set firmly into the slope. As the upper level goes up, the scale of the design is becoming clear, along with its view toward downtown Austin.

What happens when a house is designed around an art collection, rather than the other way around?

At Meridian House, the architecture was conceived as a framework for the collection rather than a setting for it. A central gallery organizes the plan, drawing soft northern light through clerestory windows while full-height glass walls terminate each end to frame views of the surrounding landscape.

Mira Vista House is now featured on .

Native limestone anchors the street elevation, keeping the house low where the neighbors see it. Behind, the ground falls more than twenty feet toward the creek, and the living spaces open into the tree canopy.

Wildcat Hollow House is featured in .

Navigating a steep slope, the design balances a discreet street presence with dramatic views of the Austin skyline.

A circular concrete stair tower anchors the geometric rigor of the low, rectilinear composition. Staggered travertine blocks emphasize material honesty, providing privacy by day and a warm glow by night.

Once inside, the solid façade dissolves into floor-to-ceiling glass that hangs right off the cliff edge.
