A laundry room may be one of the hardest-working spaces in a home, but that doesn't mean it needs to look purely utilitarian.
Here, Wheelhouse Design used penny tile to introduce texture and visual interest without overwhelming the room. The small-scale pattern carries from the backsplash to the floor, with a subtle shift in color that creates contrast while maintaining a sense of continuity in the room.
Simple white cabinetry provides generous storage and keeps everything feeling clean and uncluttered. Black hardware, a coordinating faucet, and the tall window introduce contrast and natural light.
The result is a practical workspace where a few carefully considered material choices make an everyday room feel special.
